Customer reviews for Gillette Labs NFL Kansas City Chiefs Men's Razor, Handle + 8 Cartridges forNot what I expected
I have had the sensor and the Mach3 and this Labs razor comes in third. The handle is heavy and clumsy and although the blades last they do not give the close smooth shave the Mach3 gives. I would love to trade it back for some Mach3 blades.

We're sorry to hear that it didn't meet your expectations and that you found it less effective than your previous Sensor and Mach3 razors. We understand your disappointment with the handle and the closeness of the shave. Great shave and good grip, just a bit pricey on re
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty solid razor. The handle feels good and the exfoliating bar actually makes the shave smoother than I expected. It’s easy to use and doesn’t slip, even when wet. The only downside is that the refills are a little pricey, but overall, it works really well.
A Disappointed 30-Year Gillette Customer
I've been a loyal Gillette customer for over three decades. I started with their basic razors Sensor when I first began shaving, moved to the Mach 3 then Fusion when it launched, and have been happily stocking up on Proglide Proshield for years. These were solid, reliable products that did exactly what they were supposed to do: deliver a close, comfortable shave. Then came GilletteLabs with the "exfoliating bar," and I'm beyond disappointed. This product perfectly represents what's wrong with Gillette's current direction. Instead of focusing on what made them great—making exceptional razors that simply work—they're pushing unnecessary gimmicks that nobody asked for. I've been getting perfectly smooth shaves for 30 years without needing my razor to exfoliate for me. Let's be clear: this razor costs more than the Proglide Proshield, yet it performs worse. The shave isn't as close, the cartridges probably will not last as long, and the exfoliating bar feels like a marketing gimmick that adds bulk without adding value. It's painfully obvious this "innovation" exists primarily to justify a higher price point, not to improve the shaving experience. I can't help but suspect these products are designed by executives and consultants who probably don't even shave regularly themselves. If they did, they'd know that what customers want is simple: sharp blades, good lubrication, a comfortable handle, and a reasonable price. We don't need "heated razors," "exfoliating bars," or whatever gimmick comes next. For over a century, Gillette built its reputation on one thing: making the best shaving razors in the world. The Proglide Proshield was proof that they still knew how to do that. Why abandon what works? Why not invest in making those proven products better and more affordable instead of chasing gimmicks? I genuinely hope Gillette returns to its roots. Until then, I'll be sticking with my stockpile of Proshield cartridges and seriously considering whether my next purchase will be from a competitor who still understands that sometimes the best innovation is perfecting the basics.

GilletteLabs razor delivers a smooth, close shave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always used electric razors, mostly out of habit and convenience. But recently I decided to switch things up and try the GilletteLabs razor with the exfoliating bar and honestly, I’m really glad I did. Right from the first shave, I could feel the difference. The exfoliating bar clears the skin before the blades glide over it, so the shave feels smoother and way more comfortable than I expected. No irritation just a clean and solid shave. The razor itself feels super cool and premium, has a nice weight to it. I didn’t think I’d switch from electric, but now I’m already planning to stick with this. It’s just a better experience overall.
A premium razor that blends exfoliation, sleek des
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 🧪 Effectiveness The razor delivers a close, smooth shave with minimal irritation. The exfoliating bar helps lift hairs and remove dead skin, making each stroke more efficient. It’s especially effective for daily shavers who want a clean finish without multiple passes. 💰 Value It’s positioned as a premium product, so the price is higher than standard razors. However, the combination of exfoliation and shaving in one tool may justify the cost for users seeking convenience and performance. Blade refills can add up, so long-term value depends on usage frequency. 🎨 Design Sleek and modern, with a magnetic stand that adds a touch of luxury. The handle has a good weight and grip, making it easy to maneuver. The exfoliating bar is seamlessly integrated, maintaining a clean aesthetic. 🚀 Innovation The built-in exfoliating bar is a standout feature—rare in manual razors. It streamlines the grooming routine by combining skincare and shaving. While not revolutionary, it’s a smart upgrade that enhances the user experience. 😌 Comfort Very comfortable to use. The exfoliating bar preps the skin, reducing tug and pull. The blades glide smoothly, and the ergonomic handle reduces hand fatigue. Ideal for sensitive skin when paired with a quality shave gel.
The best so far!
I bought it a year and a half ago and I'm very satisfied. It gives me the best shave I've ever had, and I've tried everything. The cartridges last much longer than the Mach3, Fusion5, and Proglide. And the blades cut closest to the skin. Compared to the Philips razor, this is much better.
Not very good
Maybe I received defective blade cartridges, but I did not like shaving with this razor. It did not give me a close or comfortable shave. Sheving with the first cartridge felt like shaving with a half dull blade, so I tried another cartridge; same result. I have been using the Mach 3 cartridges for many years and they privide a far more comfortable and closer shave for me.
Thank you for sharing your experience with the GilletteLabs Razor with Exfoliating Bar. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that you did not find it to be a comfortable or effective option for your shaving needs. It’s understandable how disappointing it can be to expect a close shave and not achieve the results you’re used to. We appreciate you trying multiple cartridges, and we regret that they didn’t meet your expectations compared to the Mach 3 cartridges you’ve relied on for years. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we want to ensure we address your concerns. Found my New Razor and it's Great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best designed razors I've ever used. It's 5 Blade Design, Everglide Lubristrip, Exfoliating Bar, and Flex-Disc contours to my face and gave me an efficient and comfortable shave. It's durable design and cost effective replacement razors equate to years of use.
GilletteLabs Total Failure
Both the regular GilletteLabs and the heated version are a complete failure. The quality is simply not there. The razor looks fancy, but the moment you pick it up, it feels cheap and unstable. The handle rattles, the construction is weak, and it gives the impression of a low-grade product hiding behind premium marketing. The heated model is even worse — heavy, awkward, and absolutely pointless. The so-called “innovation” adds nothing to the shaving experience. There’s no vibration, no precision, and no comfort. Meanwhile, the Gillette Fusion5 ProGlide Power stands in a completely different league. It’s solid, perfectly built, and feels premium in every detail. The vibration helps cut through thick stubble effortlessly, delivering a smooth, clean, and irritation-free shave every single time. Nothing rattles, nothing feels cheap — just top quality and performance. In short, both GilletteLabs razors are overhyped and overpriced disappointments. Fusion5 ProGlide Power remains the real standard of quality and the only one worth buying.
Thank you for your detailed feedback on the GilletteLabs Razors. We're truly sorry to hear that both the regular and heated models did not meet your expectations and that you found the quality lacking. Your insights regarding the construction and performance are invaluable, and we appreciate your comparison with the Fusion5 ProGlide Power. We will share your comments with our product team for review. If you have further questions or need assistance, please reach out to our support team at 1-(800) 445-5388. We're here to help!
Easy shaving
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor is a game-changer! The exfoliating bar really makes a difference—it gently preps the skin before the blades glide through, giving me one of the smoothest and cleanest shaves I’ve ever had. It feels effortless, no tugging or irritation, and it definitely cuts down on razor bumps. The handle feels premium, well-balanced, and comfortable to hold. I also love that it comes with a wall holder—it keeps things neat and within reach. Overall, it’s a sleek, effective, and innovative razor that delivers on its promise.
