[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used similar Gillette razors for years now and they usually work well. This razor continues down the same path of good performance and little to complain about. I don't think I will ever actually enjoy shaving my face -- but this razor is one of the best ones I have used. The body and handle of the razor is built well and feels substantial in my hand and on my face. This good quality feel and good ergonomics has value to me. Additionally, my biggest complaint with similar razors in the past was the stand. I either had no stand or had a cheap plastic stand that I typically disliked. This razor comes with a minimalistic base with magnetic mount. To me, this is my favorite feature and is why I think it's worth an upgrade from others. Overall, you likely need a razor - and I think this is my preferred product for a recommendation. I plan on continuing to use this for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great shave with smooth strokes and no razor burn. If you're not used to the five blade head size, it can taking some getting used to but once you feel comfortable with it it's a great shave, smooth and creates good lines

I've had issues in the past with some of these multi-blade razors as I have somewhat sensitive skin and have had issues with razor burn and ingrown hairs after using them in the past. I've had no such issues with this razor. I have a feeling it's because of the exfoliating bar. It also comes with a really nice stand which looks great. Can't recommend this one enough.

I decided to give this razor the good ol college try and was surprised. It was super smooth and didn’t irritate my skin. It was super sturdy and felt really nice in my hand. The shave was super tight and cleaned up the beard very well, and no redness or bumps!

However, cannot really tell the difference of the exfoliating bar they have added, but maybe it helps with ravor burns? Anyhow, very clean cut and does not cause any sort of irritation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've waffled between safety razor wet shaving, and cartridge razor shaving for many years. I love the closeness of shave safety razors provide, but I've never been a fan of the inconvenience of safety razor wet shaving. As a result, I often go back to traditional cartridge razors. However, cartridge razors often irritate my skin. The struggle is real! Out of all the cartridge razors I've used over the years, only Gillette razors tend to play nice with my skin. After using just about every multiblade razor Gillette sells, I think I've finally found my forever cartridge razor, and it's this one. Here's why: 1. This razor is incredibly sharp out of the box. 2. The handle is perfectly shaped and weighted. 3. The swivel of the blade works great. 4. The exfoliating bar absolutely does work; at least for me it does. 5. A cartridge lasts me at least 6 shaves; that's 2 shaves more than any other Gillette razor I've used. Bottom line: In my opinion, this is the best cartridge razor Gillette offers, and GIllette already sells the best cartridge razors on the market. Highly recommended 5 stars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was disappointing. It did not give a close enough shave. It was irritating to the skin as well. It left red streaks and took a couple of passes. For as many blades as it has, I would have thought that it would have been a nice close shave, but it was not. The base to set this in is better quality than the razor itself. I feel like the work put into the stand could have gone to making a better quality blade. The base is unnecessary in my opinion.

I enjoy the smooth, close shave it gives me. The built-in exfoliating strip feels great on the skin coz it clears away any dead skin before the blade glides across. I get fewer nicks and less irritation. The handle feels really premium in my hand, and I love the sleek matte black color. Plus, it comes with a magnetic stand that looks sharp on my bathroom counter and keeps the razor neatly displayed. Overall, it’s a super comfortable and stylish upgrade that I actually look forward to using every morning.
