Our Gillette Labs Exfoliating Razor was crafted to mechanically exfoliate the skin and remove dirt and debris so that you can get a smooth shave when you use warm water and a pre-shave. This isn't what we expect as it's not the number of blades that cause nicks and cuts, but rather a blade being put onto the skin with high pressure at the wrong angle. Having more spring-mounted blades closer together distributes the pressure more evenly across the contours of your face, leading to a more comfortable shave. We have numerous quality and safety checks, but for the best results, we always recommend using warm water, a shave prep, and shaving using light and gentle strokes if you're not already doing these things already.
