My son bought a Gillette razor with battery power in the handle. He bought it back in 2011 and used it with the same cartridge for a year and a half. He passed away and I started using it on my legs. I have been thinking using it every since with the original cartridge and it still keeps my legs hair free without nicks. So the same razor has worked for me for the past 11 years! In total it has been used for 13 years. What a remarkable thing. I can't say enough about the quality of this razor. Thank you Gillette!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was disappointing. It did not give a close enough shave. It was irritating to the skin as well. It left red streaks and took a couple of passes. For as many blades as it has, I would have thought that it would have been a nice close shave, but it was not. The base to set this in is better quality than the razor itself. I feel like the work put into the stand could have gone to making a better quality blade. The base is unnecessary in my opinion.

It gives a close, clean, smooth shave without any irritation to the skin. The exfoliating bar is an added bonus and takes some of the work off of the razor. The razor also pivots good which helps with the close shave and no cuts. It leaves the skin feeling clean and soft.

The exfoliating bar goes a long way when shaving. The weight of the razor is nice too. It comes with a stand so it's always standing on my sink. I would recommend this to anyone who uses a razor frequently.

I have this razor and try and was pleasantly surprised at the results. First, it’s smooth and precise in its cut. The head rotates as to contour well around facial features without cutting your skin. Secondly, it cleans off well in water without cut hairs sticking to it. Lastly the stand is amazing. It keeps the razor upright so the blades are sure to be clean. I haven’t had any issues with my skin when or after using the past three weeks I’ve been using it.

Gone are the days of putting tiny kleenex pieces on your face because the blade your using just sticks and doesn't get the job done smoothly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this razor for a few weeks now. Prior to this I have used either a stainless safety razor or a One Blade if rushed. I found this razor to be well built even though it obviously didn’t have the solid feel I am used to coming from a safety razor. It was easy to manipulate around the jaw line and swiveled well to avoid accidental cuts. The shave was smooth and left my skin feeling soft afterwords. The travel case was nice and keeps it nicely contained for a small carry on sized luggage bag. The magnetic base of the razor is a plus as it kept the razor from just laying on the sink getting in the way.
