I wanted to like these, but it's just not happening. In order for the straw to retract, the cup has to have little ice (not even close to the fill line) and the ice has to be separated. Otherwise, the straw gets blocked by the ice. At least that's what I think is happening. Whatever it is, I don't like it.

Love the design, however the store description doesn't align with the packaging. Store description says this cup is for hot and cold beverages and the packaging says “Not for use with hot or carbonated beverages.” I give it 2 stars since I purchased it with my morning coffee in mind and am disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the charcoal and cream colors, and they are beautiful neutral colored tumblers! I really like the retractable straw feature which prevents dust or bugs from getting into the straw. It’s a little on the heavier side but the handle makes it easy to carry. It does keep my water cold so I have no complaints! The slim bottom also fits inside my car’s cupholders.
