Check your tiles! I caught a mistake checking them before opening, I got 5 - 5cracks and 3 - 3cracks...should've been 4 of each. Overall seems like a nice set tho and hopefully I can get a correct set and then I plan to keep. Took off stars due to tile mistake..

I miss the "treasure hunt" excitement of a thrilling find at Sam's Club...this set recreated that feeling! We needs more of that, Sam's buyers! I am a "new" player and wanted a second, more trendy set like the $500 ones sold online. This fit the bill .(I also have a traditional set that is very solid). I love the colors on this Blooming version but I am using my pushers from another set because these have some room for improvement. For the price, this is an outstanding deal if you are a beginner and want something attractive and fun. I have noticed that even the competitors popular expensive sets sold on line that are comparable to this have issues if you read the reviews, these have none of those serious issues like deglazing. This is a great investment.

This is truly a beautiful starter set with great quality. My set had 4 extra blank tiles and was missing 4 dragon honor tiles. I was going to return it back to Sam's but I so happy I decided to email the company JoyC directly. They quickly shipped me the missing tiles! Amazing customer service I must say!

This is a complete Mahjong set including tiles, mat, four player racks, and carrying bag. The tiles are colorful and durable. All of the components necessary for hours of fun are included and are built to last. Price is attractive. An excellent gift.

If you're a beginner, this set will be a good one. It has everything you need to get started (table mat, 4 trays, dice, tiles) with appropriate accessories making it convenient to store. There are a few areas I'd really like to see improvement. First, the size of the carrying tote, which is just slightly too small in my opinion to put the racks in. I'd like to see the bag wider by 2-4 inches so the racks could be put in without having to adjust them. Second, the tile holding case, you have to place all 160 tiles neatly stacked together in order to zip it up. A nice bag, where you can scoop up the tiles and place them in quickly would be a better option. Again, if you're a new player or only play occasionally, this set will do. If you want something more sophisticated, geared towards serious play, invest the money and buy from Oh My Mahjong, which has incredible sets.

Was so excited to get this starter set but when arrived, four north winds were missing and instead I had two extra blanks and two extra jokers in it's place. Please check all the tiles before you open up everything! It is a good starter kit but so disappointment in the missing tiles. Also tiles are a bit chunky but good for beginners.

After spending hours looking at Mahjong sets. I found this beautiful set Blooming set at Sam's. The price was wonderful. After receiving the set I was thrilled with the tiles, size, color and quality. The mat was more than I could have hoped. Racks are sturdy and good size for the tiles. The carry bag was sturdy and quality. I have shown many of my friends they all agree and want one also. I emailed the business who provided the set to Sam's Club and they were very helpful, professional and prompt Highly recommend

We were initially excited when we opened up the set until we realized four of the dragon tiles were missing. It appears that they weren't printed in production. We returned the set and ordered a new one but the replacement set had the same issue. Vendor should do better QC.

As someone who plays every week with the expensive “name brand” tiles I can say without a doubt the quality of this set is amazing!

This set is gorgeous and the customer service from the company was amazing. I was missing my red dragons and had 4 extra blanks instead. I emailed and they sent them the next day.
