I had the original cuisinart food processor and finally need a new one. got this one and simply hate it. the bowl is impossible to scrape, when you blend it makes a mess and you can't use any tool to scrape it all back down into the bowl. i would give it a zero if the web site allowed. really disappointed with this product.

It’s ok. It’s not as good as the Cuisinart processor I had many years back. I wanted the shredding disc with 2 sizes, but not sure I’ll even keep it.

I haven't used it enough yet for a thorough review. So far it does everything I need it to, and I love having the attachments stored inside the bowl - so no need for another box to take up counter or cupboard space. My biggest complaint is that the bowl and lid are both very difficult to rotate on or off. They're extremely stiff, and I find it very difficult to remove them and put them back in place. And the handles aren't designed well for getting a good grip. My old food processor had open handles, which made it easier to grasp them to get purchase. I guess it's possible that these will loosen up over time, but right now I'm struggling to get them to budge.

There are many food processors in the market, I went for Cuisinart because of their brand. You can put a whole potato inside to slice it. I wanted to make potato chips and ended in slicing them by hand. It is a waste of money if you end up doing everything by hand.

I am an at home cook and better than most, so say my friends and relatives. I just broke my Mother’s original Cuisinart that was most likely 40 years old. I remember her excitement when she brought it home! There is no need to say “Cuisinart food processor” because that would be redundant. It was the only appliance they sold in the U.S. originally. I was making Pignoli Nut cookies this past Christmas and the Almond paste proved too dense for the old motor. It groaned and stopped and I smelled it burning. I knew it was done. I cried. And then cried and cried some more. 💔 That machine was not only a staple on both our kitchen counters, it held such happy memories of watching my Mom cook and prepare fantastic creations for our family. So many life discussions and decisions took place over that aplliance… When I cleaned out her last house I found four more versions of Cuisinart food processors with all of their accoutrements in a cabinet. Obviously, the one she passed on to me, the OG in current vernacular, was her favorite. Although I am skeptical that this new one will last 40 years, I sure won’t be around to find out. I am hopeful it is the first and last food processor I have to purchase. Thank you Cuisinart, and bravo for earning top rank in my family’s kitchen experiences, for all of the wonderful memories, and for being an integral part of making me the at-home chef that I am today!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They don't make these like they used to. This machine works well but lacks the user-friendly way old school food processors work. Also, the rack to store the tools is confusing. I also have a problem with one of the blades unable to detatch from the rod.

I have wanted a full size food processor for quite some time. I have been using my Cuisinart Little Pro Plus for almost 30 years. It came with a juicer attachment. I broke that attachment about 20 years ago and never replaced it. The food processor still works perfectly. My husband surprised me with this new Cuisinart for Christmas. I love it! I no longer have to mix things in two parts, it all fits in one bowl. I appreciate how the blade, slicer and shredder attachments fit into the bowl for storage. I love using this food processor.

This food processor is much less easy to use than our earlier model. While it looks nice, the design makes it harder to insert blades for operation, and the stem and chopping blade often fail to run when chopping hard cheeses and other more solid produce.

I finally broke down and replaced my ten year old bargain processor with a Cuisinart, and I wish I’d done so sooner. Smooth running, uniform chopping, it’s fabulous! Love that the attachments all store inside the bowl, reducing clutter as well. Very satisfied!

I am super happy with this food processor! It does absolutely everything I would ever want it to do. Everything I’ve put through it has come out on the other end consistent. No jam ups. Each and every morsel is cut, chopped, or shredded consistent. This processor has made life so much easier for me! Thank you Cuisinart!
