I've only had this washer for a few days. So far it's ok , though sometimes it doesn't seem to spin the clothes out enough so some times I have to do a second spin cycle. other then that it cleans really well once you get use to how the cycles work. I'm praying this machine lasts a few years. Also I don't like the fact that they Emailed my warenty because I wasn't looking for it and I'm not sure what heading it would be under I may have accidently deleted it so now I have to contact WalMart about it.

Don't buy without knowing that if you need a part, you will be contacting RCA in Canada, an that they are very inept in providing a part, that they will probably have to try to get from China. If the part is available, it will probably take at least 6 weeks for them to get it, and then more time for them to send it to you. I have been conversing with them by email for several weeks, and still don't have a washing machine drain hose. This drain hose is an unusual size, and not available as a "universal" model, sold by Walmart, or other "big box" stores. They told me to send a check; then later, retracted, and said they will not accept a check. As far as the RCA 2.0 Compact washing machine, itself: Basically, the machine works, but the cycles are screwed up, and if yours is like ours, you will have to work around the screwed up cycle programming. Particularly, the rinse cycle is absent for a light load, and only spatters a few drops of water during the spin cycle. Not an actual rinse. In the heavy cycle, it wants to do two rinses, with no choice to do only one rinse. If you want to do a spin only, it tries to run for over 20 minutes; absurd, because the water is all spun out after about 4 minutes. When you push the pause button during the spin cycle, the machine locks up the tub into emergency stop. This really jars the machine, and can not be good for it. The wash tub has an impressive looking stainless steel liner, but the actual wash tub is polyethylene. Throwing it into emergency stop, can't be good for it. The price was low, but it is not that great of a machine. We bought the extended service / replacement plan, but have not needed service on it yet. A lot of machine for the money, if you don t mind working around the down sides. I am wondering how it will go, if I need a repair that I can't do myself. Time will tell. Good luck.

I purchased this washer for a condo we rent for the winter. They have communal laundry facilities but they are far away, so this was a perfect solution. Washer cleans very well, operate smoothly and came with all the hook ups needed to connect to faucet. The large load I did yesterday consisted of 3 shirts, 2 knit pants, 1 pair of cargo shorts, 1 pair pajamas, 4 pair underware. The manufacturer recommends powder detergent. Love this machine and so grateful for the solution to convenience.

I love this machine! Do not hesitate to buy! It is huge, quiet, clothes come out so fresh and clean! There are detergent and lint compartments! It did however come very cosmetically altered but I cannot blame that on the manufacture. The machine is every bit of 100 lbs and human beings are hand lifting this item cross country from truck to truck to deliver it. It is 3x the size of my .9 magic chef and only 13$ more expensive, I am overly shocked at how well the clothes come out, and how much fits inside the barrel. I’m so in love I enjoy my laundry now lol.

Everything was going fine for the first 6 months and then it stopped spinning and started making a burning rubber smell during the spin cycle. Now the clothes come out wet (and soapy) and takes days to line dry. If one assumes it's only going to last one year (warranty period) it's rather more expensive than I would have liked. It also is a very large and heavy unit to consider throwing away after 1 year.

This little washer handled everything I threw in it. Even a queen size lightweight vellux blanket. It actually gets items a lot cleaner and fresher smelling than my old extra capacity washer. I use detergent pods and get excellent results. The only thing I had a problem with was the set up. The online videos were very helpful with uncrating. My laundry floor is uneven, so getting the washer level was a challenge. The adjustable feet come out if you unscrew them too far. By lying the washer on it's side enabled me to reinsert the feet, stand the washer upright and with the use of a carpenter's level, finally got it right. The "heavy" and "bulky" programs are LOUD. The noise startled me. My dog took off running! Otherwise, the noise level is quite acceptable. I like the variety of programs, especially the second rinse option. This washer does not have a compartment for adding liquid fabric softener, only detergent and bleach. Hoses and electric cord easily hooked up to laundry room. Overall I am quite pleased with the washer. Better investment than buying a full size washer for one or two person use.

The first one I bought didn't work out of the box. Return was pretty easy, and second one shipped to the house. EASY to setup. I'm impressed with the amount of clothes it holds and how well it washes! The extra spin is nice so clothes will dry very fast. Plus, if leveled correctly, it's very quiet. If this machine lasts, I'll definitely recommend to others needing space.

After too many years to the Laundromat, I wanted to give a portable a try. When I saw this model on sale (made the 2yr extended free) I bought it and I can't be HAPPIER!!! It does it all quietly. I had no trouble with set up...didn't even have to adjust for balance. I can't say enough good about this Washer (Using it as I type!) My clothes are FINALLY getting clean. I only use the pods (soap & bleach) I load turn it on and walk away! I would comment the machine might be a bit difficult to maneuver for some! But the machine itself is awesome!

The best thing that I could have bought my daughter for Christmas, she works from home, and has two small children. She was shocked to see the delivery man bring it, she thought they made a mistake bringing it to the wrong place, lol. It had no dents, like I read some people experience having. Now she can wash every day if she wanted too, it’s quiet, the clothes comes out dry, so dry that you can hang them up, the spin cycle is that powerful. I love it, she loves it. Would recommend anyone who’s looking for a great portable washer, well look no more, this one is it. And I also bought her a portable 3.0 dryer, works awesome.

It came dented. On the front, from the inside of the machine. The tub moves around a lot, almost smacks the front of the machine when it’s washing although it’s level. We will see, I’ll test it a few more times and if it does something it isn’t supposed to. I’ll be returning it. And this will be my third return. This time I’ll just get my money back, and not order another thing from Walmart.
