[You can see my old review for Magic Chef 2.1 cf. Washer under the user name “okwellthen”] Purchased Magic Chef 2.1 cf. washer less than 3 years ago (with 3yr extended warranty—thank God), and a feature that was on the Magic Chef (that is not on this RCA 2.1 cf. washer) that locks the lid shut while in use began to fail (common problem for that older model)… Thankfully it happened before extended warranty was over :) Walmart Extended Warranty credited back full amount of purchase due to no service/repair center in my area… It was an excellent washing machine! So immediately started shopping Walmart online for replacement, and found that this RCA was cheaper though same washer as Magic Chef but with different label… Ordered this RCA online WITH 4 YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY using the credited money received from warranty claim, picked it up at local Walmart within a week – this machine is just as good as the Magic Chef was only it's a newer, more improved model :) Works great! Love it! Buy it with the extended warranty! You won't be sorry!

Purchased in July of 2018. Arrived with a damaged tub hanger bracket, called customer service. It took 6 weeks of badgering the warranty department before they decided it was freight damage ( too late to make a freight claim ). I was able to make it work but I have never heard back if the part is available and how much it would be. Now I have moved some plumbing so I can connect it direct instead of using 1 hose and the quick connect. Only to find that the fill valve only opens the cold side. Other than that seems to work pretty good.

Best portable washer I've owned. Huge basket; comparable to small-medium sized machine in laundromat. Runs so very quietly. Goodly amount of programming variations for washing loads. Water level less than expected for large load setting, but I followed advice of another reviewer and added more water to the load; no harm to machine. Although machine large and cumbersome, I manage to slide it across bathroom floor, and hook up to sink. Drain hose goes to toilet or sink. Sturdy enough that no stabilization necessary while emptying water. Hookups to faucet easy peasy! One end to faucet, other to cold water inlet on back of machine. Can use any water temperature, but program temp must be cold or warm. Instructions advised powdered detergent, but have been using pods and regular liquid. This machine truly a gem. Should have gotten it long before now.

I've use this like over 8 times in less than a week I love it for my 2 bed room apartment. The quick connect is awesome I typically put all my clothes on the jeans cycle because it has the longest wash time and then I put it on the air dry after the final rinse and let it air dry for 1 hr. I use a laundry rack for drying. This machine requires just a small amount of detergent. It's not too loud. The loudest part is the spin cycle. The only thing I don't like about it is that the handles are not on the back sides of the washer. The one of the left is near the front and the one on the right is near the back. So for me being a girl it's a little hard to move since my arms aren't that long. I put a max of 4 big towels in since it rocks back and forth really hard with heavy loads(not all the time but every once in a while). The lint tray fills fast. I wish there was only one hose for the hot/cold water instead of me switching tubes. (I tried to run cold water while the Hose was connected to the hot and it didn't work) overall it's nice and bigger than what I imagine. Beware the water only fills up a little over half way on the large cycle so don't fill clothes to the top.

Life saver! There's not a hookup for a regular washing machine in our apartment so we got this instead of using the laundromat. The inside is huge! I wash a week's worth of clothes for a family of 4 in only three loads. Love the 15-minute quick wash too! Runs quiet and cleans great.

Recently moved from a place with hookups to a place without. Had to sell my full sized washer and dryer but decided i wasn’t going to use the apartment buildings facilities. I’m a bit of a germaphobe.. Did so many hours of research for the perfect compact washer and i’m so glad i choose this one. It can wash so much in a full load. I was even suprised that it was able to wash my queen sized blankets with no issues. I was afraid i would have to go to a laundry mat for blankets. Thank goodness i don’t have to! :-) Love it!

This washer is a lifesaver.. single of 3 here using the laundry facilities in the basement at 1.75 a load. Nope sorry. This bad boy hooks right up to the kitchen sink.. spins so quiet your downstairs neighbor cant hear a thing. I'm grateful for this invention..I don't have to worry about sharing anymore and having our clothes stolen for the fifth time. I highly recommend you get one.

First of all I was sent the wrong item I ordered the 2.1 cu ft portable washer and I was sent the 2.0 cu ft portable washer I told them that they mad want error and they wrote it as a replacement so they once again sent the wrong item I decided to stay with it because it's a big and excellent machine. It was a really roller coaster talking to trade square about keeping the warranty on the 2.0 CT ft portable washer that was handled and Walmart did help out with accepting they mad want error. This machine toy knowledge it's one of the best portable washer.

Machine was bigger than I imagined, which made it hard for me to find a space to store it. As previous reviews had noted for some reason when connected to a faucet their is a leak between the adapter and the faucet. Make sure that you can remove the filter part of the faucet. You need to be able to screw the faucet adapter to the faucet. Despite that it washes well and when finished one almost does not need to put the clothes in a dryer it is so well spun.

Great for someone who doesn't have washer/dryer hookups or the space for a full size washer. It is a lot bigger than I thought but small enough to put away after each use. Assembly is simply screwing in a tray at the bottom of the washer. I love the wash and feel like it cleans just as well as a full size washer, maybe better. Have had it about a week or so & have laundry about every other day without complaints. It's a great machine, a great buy! Oh! There is this dispense thing on the inside of the machine, (or so I think, it doesn't say what it is or what it's used for inside the owners manuel) but I've used it for fabric softener without an issue.
