When I purchased this item I made sure I read all reviews, compared and tried to make the most informative decision before purchasing. I purchased the RCA 2.1cf over the 1.6 version for a little extra space since I have a queen size bed but honestly I probably could have gotten by with the 1.6cf. When it arrived I was sure I was going to have to go to the store and get adapters and the like but to my surprise it came with EVERYTHING. Two fill hoses, a inlet plug (used to block off hot water inlet when using one hose), faucet adapter and quick connect adapter. This washer holds a LOT of clothes! I had a entire months worth of laundry and was able to do it all in 4 loads. It turns clothes over very well & every load came out very clean. The spin cycle is so good that the clothes just come out damp. This product is more than I expected in all honesty and very pleased with my purchase. My only regret was not buying the portable dryer at the same time. Below are the cons not many and not a real issue but feel I should mention them. Cons: No bleach dispenser No fabric softener dispenser Only two wheels so a little awkward to move. This isn't really a issue though since you can add the bleach at the beginning of the cycle and since the machine does two rinses I add the fabric softener after the first spin. Pros: Compact Quiet Full size power in a compact design Loaded with features Stainless steel drum Large capacity Lint filter is a huge plus Buy it. You will not be disappointed.

I had great timing buying this at only 235.00 it went up in price a week later. It is larger than I thought, width is barely less than doorway (snug fit getting it inside). It is about same height as sink vanity, I placed it on a adjustable cart which raised it a few inches above the vanity in my bathroom. The meshed square plastic piece goes on the bottom of the machine btw , booklet doesn’t really tell you. It is pretty quiet for a washer , on spin cycle you will need the machine braced well (mine is against a wall) or it will want to move from the force. I put a diverter valve on my shower and used a adapter from hardware store to connect the hose. Ok so how does it work? It is amazing! I wish I had gotten this sooner. If you are looking around you will see it is sold under a few names but is clearly the same unit. The rca branded was best price when I purchased. It has a drawer to place detergent where water flows through to distribute it, I use pods. The softener release ball from store works well in it. It has several cycle options for quick rinse and spin to heavy wash with double rinse.the air dry option takes a hour (you can stop early) I have so far washed two medium weight blankets queen size, one knit throw several shirts and few underwear and few socks with a pair of jogging shoes in one wash and it was no problem at all for this machine. It is heavy damp on jeggings , so air dry and the jeggings were light damp and the blankets were practically dry. The shirts were practically dry as well. I’ve run several mixed loads of clothes and all have come out beautifully. I do need to get a hang rack to finish air drying sweaters etc this winter. It is so nice not running to the laundromats. In a year it will have paid for itself. For neighbors below it sounds like I’m vacuuming, my bathroom is actually situated over the entrance so I went downstairs to listen. So if your neighbor is noise sensitive they will notice, but it’s not terrible.

I bought this a couple years ago to after my full sized washer finally died. first off all of the people who found water In the machine read the paperwork. it states very clearly that every washer is tested and it is common to have residual water left after the test. I was and still am blown away by this little beast. it washes better then my Kenmore ever did and spins so completely that I almost don't even have to dry the load. after 2 years it is still going strong. has no problems with the loads I've tried and will wash my queen sized bedding, just have to wash the comforter separate. it is a compact after all. only reason I'll ever replace is when my family grows. it's fine for me and the Mrs but I'll admit add a couple kids and I doubt it will be able to keep up. definitely will hold onto it as a backup though. bottom line I would gladly buy it again

What a wonderful surprise. This portable washer seems to the job of a full sized machine. It is very quiet and gets the job done quickly. I am very glad I purchased this RCA instead of another Haier (lasted only 2 1/2 years). If you're thinking about purchasing a portable washer, give this one a serious look. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Unlike most people I bought this unit to hook up to regular washer hook ups. I've seen washers like this used in Asia and I liked the idea that its portable so that when I moved apts it would be a much easier ordeal. So far this thing is excellent, it washes clothes very clean and the dry cycle removes pretty much all the water. I would say if you filled it up with the proper amount of clothes, it would be slightly less then then a normal size load you would put in a full sized machine. I think the load size would only become a problem for you if you tried washing king and queen size blankets in it.

Awesome machine so glad I finally bought it. I live in a park model without laundry hookups and going to the laundromat gets old really fast. I've had the machine for a week now and all is well. No leaks or issues. Like some have mentioned the cords and hoses are rather short. I found that my small kitchen did not have room to roll it up to the sink. No problem that a trip to the hardware store didnt fix. I bought a longer water hose and a dishwasher drain hose to use as an extender. Now the unit stays at the edge of the kitchen and does not have to be moved, just hook longer hoses up. the size of loads it can do is really amazing. I have even washed a king sized blanket. I cant tell you have much this has improved life. Its so easy to do a load of wash every couple of days to keep it from building up too much. I also purchased the Magic Chef 2.6 dryer. So unless I have something super bulky, its goodbye laundromat!

Love my washer I’ve had it for almost 3 years now. I just moved again and it came with me. This time it’s got it’s own spot in the bathroom with water spouts to hook up to. She could use a good cleaning and a new hose but it’s been a great experience since day one with it. Seening these new reviews on the washer makes me nervous to replace mine. So I won’t until it doesn’t work anymore because I just love it that much
