First of all, if you are reading some of the reviews you might have noticed that every 4 and 5 star review has been collected as part of a promotion, now initially it doesn't seem like it, but as I was reading quite a few of those high reviews, I noticed that they have been duplicated word for word. The first one does not say it was collected as part of a promotion, but than it's carbon copy does. Very sketchy. My daughter received this toy on Christmas morning from Santa and it was definitely her favorite present, after opening all of her gifts she wanted to open up her new oven and get to baking, but she couldn't. Walmart sells this item for almost $50 and though it is understandable that everything pictured on the front of a box isn't necessarily included, you would think that with that kind of price tag, at least one item would be, to make the toy immediately usable. Now, I openly admit that we are yet to try the oven, so I have no idea if it will work well, but I do know that my daughter was very disappointed when she couldn't use her new, favorite toy and I know that Santa was very disappointed when he gave a gift that couldn't be used until at least the next day. Stores that carry the mixes aren't open on Christmas day. Though a premium price is charged for such mixes, I am confident that it would cost pennies on the dollar for Hasbro to included enough cookie mix to make one or two cookies. I know as a parent of a disappointed little girl, I would pay another dollar for the minimum amount of mix to be included in the original purchase of the oven. I think it's shameful to let a child down on Christmas morning because people might forget to take the time to read the fine print on your boxes. I strongly believe that this may happen, because when they have a $50 item and a name brand like Harbro, you expect the quality that Hasbro has delivered in the past. I sincerely hope that once I get my daughter some of the mixes that she wants to try, she does enjoy the oven as much as anticipated and that Hasbro seriously considers including some type of mix in the box, so that other children aren't as sad as my daughter was on Christmas morning, when I told her she wasn't able to bake anything today.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old loves her Easy Bake Oven. The oven itself does exactly as advertised. It is a fun way to make little snacks with your child. My daughter is so proud after we make a batch of goodies because SHE made them. The mixes are a bit expensive though. It’s up to you if it is worth the experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love Easy Bake oven. It is easy to setup and my kids 7 and 9 were able to follow instructions without my help. Easy Bake comes with baking pan, pan tool, instructions and one red velvet and strawberry cake mix. It is a good experience for kids, and not only girls. The cakes were delicious and we will buy more mixes to try such as deep dish pizza, cookies and pretzel bites. The cooking takes 20 min for one cake. The oven is small and easy to store. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a really nice gift for kids, especially if they enjoy playing in the kitchen. Easy to use and great to teach them baking skills. They do need supervision while using this since it’s electric and it gets hot. The pan is really small. So cute. Can’t wait for my son to bake some cookies in it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Influenster and Hasbro offered this, Easy Bake Ultimate Oven, free in exchange for my honest review. This set comes with the oven itself, ome baking pan, one pan tool and instructions. However, it does not include any of the mixes, they are sold separately. Back when I was using an easy bake oven it used a lightbulb to heat. Not the ultimate oven. It does plugs in to a power supply and doesn't require a lightbulb, like the older version. It does make tiny delicious treats that my twin granddaughters (ages 8) and I have so much fun with. Keep in mind that it is clearly marked regarding the adult supervision requirements, on the box. I absolutely agree with an adult needing to supervise and even help. It gets hot especially on the top. The instructions are provided and easy to follow, for me. I did have to assist! The oven itself has been designed with a super adorable look. The colors are fun. I can see why there is so much to appeal. In my opinion, this needs to come with more than one pan and at least one mix. However, they do have mixes that come with a silicone pans, that cost a few dollars more than the original refills mixes. Overall, I am happy and so are the kiddos. I think the Easy Bake Ultimate Oven by Hasbro will be an awesome gift for both girls and boys. Especially, if they find baking and cooking fun, like mine do.

This thing is a piece of crap. My daughter loves the idea of “cooking” but if you want to bond with your child use a real oven together. This is so small you can only make one awful tasting cookie at a time. She thought it was cool because it’s a “toy” but I would not recommend this at all.

I was so excited to find an Easy Bake oven for my kids to enjoy! It brings back so much nostalgia for me. It is made exactly how I remember them working with a new age design. So far, we have made cookies, pizzas and whoopie pies, and we have only had it for a week. The recipes are very simple to follow but I do recommend helping them get going, even if they are above the age recommendation. I was also highly impressed with the shipping from Walmart on this item, it arrived within four hours of ordering! I live in a very rural area and I have never received a package that quickly. Overall, I’m super happy with my order and have already forwarded the link to friends to place orders too!

It has a timer to let you know when it's heated up and when the foods done. The brownies we made came out perfect. They tasted amazing. And the clean up.was so easy.
