Excellent cooler, and insane value. The carrying handles are my least favorite feature, and on some surfaces, wheels would be nice, but in this case, for what I paid, I’m extremely happy. As a cooler, it keeps ice for far longer than our needs, and it keeps food cold on the way to our vacation destinations, which is what I need. Most customers really do not need to spend for the expensive brands - this one does the trick.

This cooler performs outstanding and it is a fair price. If you want to maximize your performance pre cool the cooler. On a Tues afternoon I put 40 lbs of Ice in. Wednesday I packed up for a road trip with drinks and some food. The cooler was in the back(bed) of my truck or in the garage for the entire period,(out of direct sunlight) On average I got in the cooler twice a day. On Friday I added 5lbs of ice from the hotel. One week later on a Wednesday day I still had Ice in this cooler not much but still had 5 cold drinks. I drained the water on (Friday). I keep it out of direct sunlight but temps were in the 90s everyday. Lows temps over night about 60. The design has nothing sticking out to break, has a great drain and cap with good latches that are flush with the cooler.

Really nice cooler. Very large and heavy. Does a good job keeping food cold. An important feature is that the lid can stay open while you load or unload it. This seems like a standard feature but it is not. This is a superior cooler to the other big cooler that Sams Club has.

For the price this ice chest is very durable & holds ice for many days keeping things cool. We also like the latches & that it can be locked. It stands up to the more the more expensive ice chests.

Great buy at a great price! Keeps ice for days! Bought one in the store and wanted another, so we were glad to see they were available online and delivered to our door.

Well built and quite effective. Haven't tested but did use it for 3 day outing. Really surprised with how well it worked. Filled it up and by the time we got to the bottom things were still quite chilled. The less it is opened should up the effectiveness.

Took this cooler on a 6 day camping trip near Lake Isabella in July, 105 degrees every day and very little shade, plus a 5 hour drive to get there with the cooler cooking in the sun the whole way. When I returned home, there was still ice. Very sturdy, heavy duty, reliable cooler. And the bottle openers on the side are a big plus, way easier than trying to keep track of one somewhere else. I came back and bought a second one of these coolers because they are so great. You really can't beat the price for the quality that you get here.

I have not used the cooler as of this date. I tested the cooler by putting a gallon of frozen water in the cooler, cooler was at room temperature, after 2 days there was still ice in the gallon container about the size of my fist. Good indication that it will work well for my needs

This is the best cooler we have ever purchased. Very sturdy, tight seal, keeps ice very cold. Extremely pleased with the lifetime products.

Four (4) star rating is because the label says ice will last up to 8 days (website says up to 7 days), but the 20 pounds of ice was gone after 4 days in an ambient temperature of 80F. Apparently special cooler preparation is needed to attain the 7 days of ice retention. For example, instead of packing regular liquid water bottles in the cooler, all the bottles of water should be frozen ahead of time. It was also suggested to pre-chill the inside of the cooler itself using a few pounds of dry ice (-109F) inside. NOTE: Put the dry ice in something or wrap a towel around it - do not lay the bare dry ice directly on the bottom of the cooler as the dry ice may damage the plastic. Good news is for the quality, this cooler deserves five (5) stars. Solid construction, full wrap around lid seal, metal bottle openers on front corners with the option for adding pad locks. The functional lid locks are outstanding, very well designed and they appear to be quite strong. However, the empty cooler itself is heavy - which when loaded full, this cooler should have two wheels for improved mobility.
