I am a small and this sweater runs big, it fit loosely, but it is made of warm fabric that will keep you warm in cool temperatures. I have washed it a few times now and have not noticed any loose strings or buttons. So far I really like this sweater and see myself continuing to wear it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was absolutely thrilled to receive this red and white striped Nine West Jeans sweater in exchange for my honest review! My first reaction was “Oh my word — it’s so ME!” And it definitely is! I saved it to wear at Christmas with black jeans and received many compliments on it. It’s an XL, which fit me perfectly; the relaxed fit and cotton/acrylic blend made it extremely comfortable to wear on a cold New England day. It’s not at all heavy yet kept me warm all day. I also expect that I’ll be able to wear it in warmer weather as well, and look forward to trying it both as a cardigan or buttoned up, as shown in my photo. I anticipate trying a nautical look with a pair of blue jeans. I gave it 4 stars, rather than 5, for two reasons: first is sloppy finishing around the neckline, as shown in photo (I checked the rest of the garment and didn’t see this issue anywhere else); second is because the three tags with garment care instructions (and extra button!) that were sewn into the side seam are paper thin and made of a material that is so crinkly and scratchy against my skin that I had to cut them out. I hate to do that but the tags were so uncomfortable that they had to go. Aside from those issues I do LOVE this sweater and am so looking forward to wearing it again and again!

I wanted to make sure I had plenty of room for a blouse underneath. I'm 5ft 3 and 118 for reference. The color is spot on and the material is quality! Can be worn casually or would be good for work or church. Would highly recommend! The buttons were a little difficult to unfasten, but nothing terrible! They really pop against the colors of the actual cardigan. It has a good weight to it, but isn't heavy. Just enough to keep you warm. Would recommend!
