I used my sample beef broth from Influenster and Swanson to make a roast and gravy. The broth was super flavorful and left me satisfied when using. I like how many varieties they have able now with options like low sodium, organic etc. This broth is flavorful and not overly salty . It's so easy to amp up the flavor of my soups and stews or anything that I add water to by just substituting broth. The convenient resealable top is best for me because I can store the leftover broth in the same packaging for future use.

I have used Swanson broth for decades! it's the broth my mama always used. I love that there's no MSG in it, GMO free, and it's still just as full of flavor as their other broths. I like to drink the broth plain. However, I love the broth for making stews and soups. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Swanson® Beef Broth I find this to be incredibly salty. The sodium content in this broth is way too much for my taste & health concerns. I always buy sodium-free organic broth, or make my own. However, I used appropriately 1/2 of a cup of this in a slow cooker with a 3.6 pound chuck roast I cooked for a family get together. Everyone loved it. If you aren’t concerned about sodium & you aren’t a person who likes to control the salt content in what you cook, this would be a good choice for you. I think it would make a tasty French Onion Soup, as it is on the salty side anyway. It would be easy to add to some caramelized onions topped with a good (not salty) cheese like provolone, & melted & browned. This doesn’t need to be used in a recipe that calls for the broth to be cooked down or thickened. That would concentrate the salt & make it much saltier.
