The app allows you to adjust brightness and color of each bulb individually or as a group if you have more than one. They screw right into the socket just like any light bulb so installation is a breeze. The app can even sync with google alexa. So easy and no more worrying about the wrong colored bulbs in any of our spaces! I would highly recommend and plan on replacing more bulbs around my own house. I cannot speak to durability as I have not had the bulbs for longer than one month, but in that time at least I have not had any burn out or stop working with the app.
