The fabric has a really athletic feel that is light and durable. The shorts are a hybrid short/skirt of sorts. The skirt-like part is outside shorts with individual legs, which are not visible when standing or walking - see the pictures. This comes in really useful for playing while keeping what is under the shorts shielded from view. The shirt is fairly typical and fits nicely. Tropical colors are great too.

The Champion short and shirt set in 2 t is made of a great material. It looks comfortable I have not had a chance to let the kids where it since it is winter here but it’s looks great and great quality.
