It was Rice. The last time I ordered it it was rice too, it was tied for the best Minute apRice I ever bought, This Minute Rice is really rice. It was extra ricey! If you are ever in the market for minute rice, I highly recommend that you buy minute rice. I hate these freaking surveys, especially for something as generic as minute rice! Did I mention that this was GREAT minute rice?

The rice is great if you receive it. Walmart often ships using OnTrac which is HORRIBLE. Every month I buy the bulk of my food from Walmart. OnTrac claims to have delivered it, but they didn't, so, every month, I have to file a complaint to try and hunt down my purchases. Eventually, they show up somewhere on my property. I've finally had it. NO MORE WALMART ONLINE ORDERING.

This was a staple when living alone but fell to the wayside when I got a rice cooker. I recently found a greater way of preparing Minute Rice other than stove top cooking. Minute Rice cooks perfectly in crockpot casseroles - chicken divan, broccoli and cheese, burrito bowls and paella. It cooks in 30-40 minutes and absorbs all the flavors without constant attention or baking all day. We had enough rice for 6 crockpots! This is by far the best brand of instant rice.

My kids love this stuff. While I am more of a traditionalist when it comes to cooking rice, sometimes you just don't have the time to wait. Minute rice is perfect for these situations. My kids love it for breakfast or as a side dish with a meal. And since it just takes a few minutes to cook, it's always a perfect option.

I usually make our rice in my instapot but when in a hurry this rice will work very well. I like using it with Dinty Moore Stew for a fast hearty meal. It tasted great and is SO easy to prepare. I use my electric teapot to boil the water which really speeds it up. When boiling pour over the rice (add butter or salt if you want), cover, and in 5 minutes it's done! I use a little less water than called for so I don't have water left in the bottom of the bowl. Yes, I would recommend this Minute Rice and have used it for many years.

I've used Minute Rice for years and never received a box that was leaking rice from the bottom. The shipping container had a lot of rice in it and the rice box almost looked like it had been opened. I was concerned that something might have crawled into the box so decided to throw it out. Better to be safe than sorry.

I was thrilled this was available online and was delivered earlier than expected in a very well packed box with air pillows. As it was a box I ordered, this really impressed me someone took the time to have it arrive in such good condition! Thank you!

THEIR WAS AN EMPTY SPACE OF 2-TO 2 1/2 IN THE TOP OF THE BOX. IT WAS NOT FILLED UP. THE BEST USE DATE WAS UNREADABLE OCT 2022 OR 2023. THE BOX WAS TAPED SHUT AT THE TOP, MAYBE IT OPENED? OR WAS PACKAGED FOR TRANSIT THAT WAY. I BOUGHT TWO BOXES, HAD NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE FIRST, JUST THE SECOND BOX.

I was first introduced to minute rice from a friend literally a few years ago and I’m almost 30. I had no idea such a thing existed and in typical grocery stores these boxes are quite expensive. Sam’s has the best price if you enjoy eating lots of rice, love this purchase. Definitely makes quick dinners a lot easier or if I’m trying to make a quicker lunch etc.

Was damaged when received. Do not believe it was damaged in shipment as the shipping box was in good shape. Most of the itens were damaged, sweet potato cans were dented in, the mao that was ordered was coming out the top. Overall not good. I will stick with my pickup at the store and will not order to be delivered again.
