When I make the rice as per the box directions it comes out kind of crunchy. So I add the rice with the water and bring the water to a boil. Once it boils I take it off the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes. The rice comes out fluffier this way. I like this product because I can make smaller portions with it

Alway buy same kind of rice and useful....

Minute rice box arrived open. Threw rice box away.

Not perfect rice as you would get using a rice cooker but good enough in a pinch. We were pleasantly surprised by the taste and ease of making it.

I really like Minute Rice. I like this big box at Sam's Club because it's reasonably priced. This rice comes out perfect every single time. I don't like messing with a rice cooker and all that. I just want to make two servings at a the time and be done with it. It's as simple as putting it in the bowl with the water in the microwave it's done.
