Excellent crib mattress, very soft material for baby. You can add sheets if you want but you definitely don’t need to. The mattress is beautiful all on its own. Fits perfectly into our brand new crib, standard in size. Recommend this for anyone looking for a no nonsense crib for their little one!

I can't get past the smell. Even after a week of "airing out," the chemically smell is almost nauseating (to this prego mom to be with super sense of smell anyway) and I cannot imagine putting my newborn baby on it. Also, unhappy with the "bunching" of material with the two zippered cases it requires, let alone adding another mattress pad and fitted sheet. I will be returning.

I was very happy with the quality of this mattress, given that it is MUCH cheaper than almost every other foam mattress on the market. It is firm enough for young babies, but also seems comfortable enough for toddlers. The mattress inflated in under an hour and my baby slept in it that night. It is also easy to transport, as it comes in a box.

Mattress is a great alternative to the cheap spring mattresses. For the price, it's the best we could find at a reasonable price. We were using it for a toddler bed with a two year old and feel confident it is firm enough for safety, but soft enough for comfort. That being said, I'm not sure I would trust it for a newborn with as soft as it is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It really is a full size foam crib mattress in a box and it's awesome! When I first saw it I thought, "Whoah, there's a full sized crib mattress in there?" And there most definitely is! 1. It is vacuum-sealed and coiled around itself inside of a tight plastic casing and so when you first unroll it allow it to lay flat. It says it meets federal regulations for being flame retardant, and it comes with a covering that appears to be an additional safety barrier. 2. Is has a strong odor, probably from the flame retardant materials, so I would put it in a place with good ventilation while it expands and then put it on your child’s toddler bed frame or crib. If you’re not pressed for time, I would recommend waiting a full week before allowing your child to sleep on it. The odors dissipate significantly by then. 3. Give it a full 24 hours to expand to its maximum size. I put it next to my other daughter's coil mattress (which I got from Wal-Mart and like a lot) shortly after opening it and it was like half the depth of an average crib mattress. I checked the mattress a few hours later and it expanded considerably. By the next day it had completely expanded to the same size of my daughter’s coil mattress. I thought I liked the coil mattresses, but this foam mattress has become my favorite. It is firm yet plush. Being that this mattress is foam and does NOT come with a plastic covering, I would STRONGLY recommend putting a moisture barrier or pad over it that sops up leaks and spills. How do you clean a foam mattress and keep odors from permeating it? I would imagine after a few urine incidents the foam mattress would start to have a not-so-pleasant odor. So, avoid having to do deal with that scenario by just buying a moisture resistant cover and placing that on top of the mattress and under your crib sheet.

The only reason this gets 4 stars and not 5 is because it's really only 4"thick, not 5". I bought this mattress fit use as a dog bed. I wanted something that provided more support than a traditional dog bed for our (2) 70# babies. This mattress is perfect. It's firm and supportive, but has some give to allow the dogs to nestle in. They took to it instantly. The foam expanded quickly and did not have that typical foam smell. It's lightweight, so it's easy to change sheets. I wish I would have bought this sooner.

I love everything about this mattress. I just transitioned my baby to the bigger crib because he started rolling and seems to favor his belly while sleeping. I did a lot of research about breathability and this had great reviews. The crib fits perfectly snug in the crib. The mattress looks great and the cover makes me feel secure that the mattress won’t get dirty if he has a diaper slip up. I had purchased another mattress before and decided to go with this one. Baby loves it and sleeps perfectly fine through the night.

Okay,so I'm always purchasing items based on reviews, and it never fails...except this time,and I'm very disappointed with graco, this is a really comfortable matress for a baby, BUT it has a horrible smell, I bought this matress for more than 2 weeks now ,and I was REALLY HOPING the smell would go away, but no!still the same as the first day it arrived, I washed all the covers that the matress comes with, and no much help on the odor, I think it also bothers my baby because when she lays on her crib she always starts to get fuzzy and she scratches her nose a lot, it's so strong the whole room smells like it ,I do Co-Sleeping and the crib it's right next to me,and I can smell the nasty odor from a distance I read some reviews when purchased and I did see some buyers complaining on the odor but for some reason I thought they were over reacting , I'm highly thinking on returning this nasty mattress and get my money back....Do NOT BUY!DO YOUR BABY A Big FAVOR!!

i got it for my daughter which is 15 months at the time and the new baby on the way, i got it out of the box its so soft! my little girl will love sleeping on this!! I swear i will buy again

When we received this product I wasn't sure it was the correct item, it came rolled up and compressed. Therefore it did not look like a mattress,it took two days for it to completely fill out. Other than that.. love it.
