Great product. I was worried because I was looking for a firm, memory form mattress for my 10 month old daughter who is too active and wasn't sure what kind of material this one is. It is firm. She is able to walk quickly around the crib on this without falling and hit herself to the rails. Don't waste your money buying the other cheaper, but plastic mattresses. I bought 2 of those and it is horrible even for me when I try to lie on it. Very uncomfortable. When my daughter sleep in them, she ended up lying next to the rails because the lack of firmness of the mattress pushed her to the side. When she walks on them, it looks like she is walking on the water bed that moving, which caused her to hit herself on the rails.

Got this mattress for the fact that the reviews were great. Didn't expect it to be thin though. It says it takes about 48 hrs to expand to its full size so after a week I realized that it's as far as it'll go... I like it. Just thought it would be a bit thicker. And squared like the picture they have online. Just hope the softness/ firmness works for my baby.

I had bought this mattress for my newborn. I was surprised how comfortable and firm it was. I'd been keeping my eye on it to maybe get for my toddler. When it went on sale, I jumped at the opportunity. I really love it for my kids, and I think it will be comfortable if we use it for a daybed too. I will say take off the two outer covers and let it inflate for more than 48 hrs to get it as full as possible.

The mattress is fine for my needs. My grandchildren will nap and sleep over occasionally. It comes vacuum sealed, rolled up in a tight box. When you unroll it it takes time for it to puff up. One edge is still flatter then the other after 3 days. I put that side against the wall, hoping it recovers over time. But, basically it's got a good firmness all over and a good texture. Hoping for the best!

Received the GRACO mattress in time but unfortunately, after the recommended 72 hours, my mattress hasn’t expanded to the safe thickness (4 inches) and is sloped. One side measures 4.5 inches while the other only measures 3.5 inches, so it is disappointing. I had to contact Storkcraft customer services in order to get a replacement mattress and am waiting to receive it in the hopes the new one will expand properly. I am therefore unable to use it as intended and have to wait again before being able to say anything about its use and practicality with time.

I was cautious of buying this item because of reviews about a bad smell. I actually purchased two of them and neither one had a bad odor and they inflated within 48 hours of laying them flat. They do each have one corner that didn't inflate as well but it's hardly noticeable. My twins absolutely love them.

This mattress never expanded completely like it was supposed to. We have had it for several days now and it is still flat at the ends. I've tried everything to get it to expand out but nothing works. I did not purchase this item for a baby or toddler bed but for my dogs so I'm ok with it. if I had bought it for a baby bed I would have returned it and got my money back. Graco is a good name so I am surprised they make such a poor quality of an item.
