Purchased this mattress for my three year old along with his Delta Spider-man Plastic toddler bed. Delivery took 3 business days to arrive. The mattress arrived in a box and the mattress was rolled up sealed vacuum tight. I carefully cut the plastic from the mattress and immediately put the new cover as instructed before allowing the mattress to expand. I did not allow the mattress to fully expand within 48 hours as instructed as the mattress pretty much expanded fast overnight. I tested this out for myself and instantly became jealous as how soft and comfortable it was. I did not purchase a coiled spring mattress as I did not want my three year getting into a habit of jumping on the bed so this pretty much eliminated the problem. So glade that I was able to make this decision in purchasing this mattress, it is super comfortable and affordable and would recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very very pleased with this mattress. I was initially concerned that it would not be as comfortable as the typical mattress for my 2 year old. He is no longer in a crib, but in a toddler bed which requires a crib mattress. The foam mattress is not super soft as I feared but is perfectly firm but has the comfort of a foam mattress. I guess what I'm trying to say is it's not too soft and it's not too firm. I know baby mattresses are supposed to be very firm, but my babies always slept horribly on them. My son sleeps very well on this mattress. He seems to have a tougher time getting up because he's so comfortable, but when he does get up, he is much better rested than before when he was sleeping on the "typical" crib mattress. Needless to say, he is happy with his bed. The only negative I have to say about this crib mattress is when it comes out the package, it stinks. You have to let it set for 48 hours per the instructions, and just know when you let it set...wherever you do so, it will stink up that particular room. It smells like an intense new factory product type smell. That's the best I can describe. It's strong. My son has been sleeping on it for a little over a week now and although the smell has tapered off some, the smell is still present, though it'd be slight. It comes rolled up in a box so in order for it to get to its full size, the instructions say let it stand for 48 hours. I let it set for 24 hours and that did the trick. It also comes with a mattress cover/protector which is nice. Just slip it in and zip it up. Overall, it's a great buy and worth it.

I waited a week for the mattress to plump up (says 48 hours). I took all covers off of it and tried to massage it, turn it different ways, etc. but half of it stayed about an inch thick and only one side expanded. Highly disappointed. Will be returning it.

We got this mattress for a three yr old to go in her toddler bed. It feels much softer than a traditional crib mattress, and isn't noisy like other ones with a waterproof covering. It doesn't bounce either so my toddler can't jump on her bed (best part)!

I'm very disappointed with this mattress. I read the reviews and they all seemed good. One side is flat and it doesn't fill our standard size crib and isn't very thick at all. We are taking it back this weekend! Sounds like they should quit selling it.

This mattress comes with two liners. Both zip up around the mattress and can be removed. I originally purchased this for my 90 lb great dane puppy. Naturally, it got dirty over time. I removed both covers and washed them. I put them in the dryer on AIR dry. The innermost lining exploded into fiberglass. FIBERGLASS. I started to itch and my face was stinging and I couldn't figure it out. Until I discovered the tiny little shiny pieces everywhere. They were all over me, all over the cover, all over the floor. Much to my dismay, they are also covering the inside of my very expensive dryer. I threw the cover in the garbage immediately. I can only hope that the 30 minutes of vacuuming to the inside of my dryer was sufficient enough. I do not know if the top cover can be salvaged, as it was washed with the inner cover and is covered in fiberglass. The attached photo is the fiberglass that I discovered in my dryer's lint screen.

I bought this mattress to use for a toddler. I wish it was a bit softer but my toddler has enjoyed her new bed and has slept through the night. If your child wets the bed, I’m not sure if this is the best purchase for you. However, it does have a mattress cover included but I think another one might be necessary for wetness protection .

This mattress comes in a box and then you lay it out to inflate. I have bought a spring mattress before and I am not a big fan. The one I bought before is also from Wal-Mart and has the plastic on the outside and owls, it has a big air pocket on it so my two year old jumps on it a lot, it's flimsy and very noisy. This one fits the crib nicely and isn't overly bouncy or noisy. Happy with this purchase.

Way too firm. Definitely doesnt seem like memory foam by any means. I bought this for my toddler for his toddler sized bed. I would have returned it if I had kept the box. I had a little too much faith and was sorely disappointed. I plan on buying my son a better mattress in the near future.

We just received the most beautiful crib and wonderful mattress for my nephew. The mattress is the perfect firmness and so lightweight. The water resistant mattress cover is a great feature!! Xavier will have many peaceful nights on his new mattress!!
