We love this mattress for our child and purchased a second one for my parents crib. Highly recommend! I echo a previous reviewer’s question about the mattress cover: can just the cover be purchased separately? I’m unable to find it anywhere. I washed and dried the cover (against the rules) after it was thrown up on and I needed it in a hurry and it definitely shrunk and barely fits the mattress now.

My husband and I have a nice premium soft and comfortable mattress. Are 5 month old seemed to like our mattress as much as we do. We decided to research and try to find a baby crib mattress that feels just like ours and we came across this Graco Premium Foam Mattress. JC Penney’s had the same mattress but for $10 more. We made our purchase based on consumer reviews. We read a review about a lady who stated that she got inside of the crib and tried it out for herself lol. She reported that the mattress was truly soft and comfortable. The reviews mentioned how the mattress will not inflate immediately. This is true. It will take some time. We waited a couple of days before allowing our baby to try it out. We were not in a rush. The reviews mentioned taking the mattress in the bathroom, shutting the door, and turning the shower on to help inflate the mattress faster. We did not try this. The reviews also mentioned the ‘smell’ of the mattress. It does have a brand new mattress smell that lingers. Other than the mattress smell, we are satisfied with the mattress. It is nice, soft, but firm enough for a baby. FYI The mattress comes folded in a box about 4ft tall and about 8 inches wide. When you first look at it, you would not think there’s a mattress inside! My husband was like,’What is this!?’ The box is not heavy. Our baby likes to stretch his arms out and turns side ways while sleeping. We are happy that he can sleep as wild as he wants in the comfort of his own little crib! We have the Graco converter (dark cherry colored) crib. The mattress does not make that plastic ‘crunchy’ sound every time he moves. No noise!

I bought the mattress almost 3 months ago online. It stayed in the box until my husband decided to finally assemble the crib. I read all the great reviews and that is why I bought it. I took the mattress out and left it for 5 days for it to go to its original state. After the 3rd day, I tried to fluff it around to see if uncompressed, but it didn't. Half of it did and the other half stayed flat. I had to return it to the store. wish they had the same mattress at the store but they didn't, so I had to go with something else that was almost 3 times the amount I had paid for this.

Simple foam mattress. Solid, not flimsy. Good feel to it. Nothing fancy just a nice plain comfortable little mattress at - what I feel - is a reasonable price. Has a removable cover and as long as you wash it zipped up and hang it from the corners to dry, is easy to get back on ….tumble dry it and you will have problems. Zipper is fairly strong, hasn't broken yet. I think for an economy mattress its a good buy.

I was looking forward to having this mattress but after receiving it I have to give it a fair rating. I would like to rate it as poor but because the mattress is firm and otherwise as described, I gave it an extra star to fair. This mattress comes vacuum sealed in a narrow rectangular box. You have to carefully remove packaging as not to cut the mattress (the plastic is thick and you have to cut into it which can make it easy for you to cut the mattress- I didn't cut mine thankfully). I can appreciate that they want to vacuum seal an item to make it easier to transport and save on packaging material, but the problem is that when you take it out the box and then cut through the plastic, it is a very flat mattress. You have to lay it down and give it time to expand to it's size (which I believe is about 6"). One side of the mattress never expanded, the shorter side. It remained flat about 2". I bought another one to see if the first was defective, but no - the same thing happened with the second one this time staying flat on the longer side of the mattress about 3" expansion only. It's unfortunate because the mattress feels firm and comfortable. It looks great and seems to be good quality but the foam not expanding as it should, makes this a poor product. Next time I will buy a mattress that is not compressed.

We got this mattress for a three yr old to go in her toddler bed. It feels much softer than a traditional crib mattress, and isn't noisy like other ones with a waterproof covering. It doesn't bounce either so my toddler can't jump on her bed (best part)!

I was a bit nervous when it came because it was folded over in the box, but I gave it a couple days to expand (as directed in the mattress instructions) and it is normal thickness and you would not know that it had been folded. Feels much more comfortable than many crib mattresses and fits well in a standard crib. I bought my older child (now a toddler) a different crib mattress that was actually more expensive and I like this one much better. Will be buying a second to replace her mattress. I also like that it comes with a mattress protector so I didn't have to purchase additional liners.

I bought this mattress to use for a toddler. I wish it was a bit softer but my toddler has enjoyed her new bed and has slept through the night. If your child wets the bed, I’m not sure if this is the best purchase for you. However, it does have a mattress cover included but I think another one might be necessary for wetness protection .

I've been looking for a foam bed for my toddler and I couldn't believe how reasonable this bed was. For the price! I am impressed. I love the brand Graco and this was my first time getting one of their mattresses. It took about 2 days to fully expand. My son loves it! (The photos were taken when I first opened it)

I really liked the idea of a foam mattress. It immediately expanded to its full size, which is approximately 5". I put the zippered covers on immediately, but then noticed a strong latex/chemical odor. Determined to make this mattress work, I took all the covers off, (their were 3 included,) and let it stand in a upright position for 5 days. I put the covers back on and the water proof mattress cover and sheet I purchased and it is perfect! I love the firmness of it, you just have to be patient and buy it and plan to use it immediately.
