I bought this mattress because I have a homemade crib that is slightly shorter than a standard crib. I wanted to get a new mattress for my second son since there was a 4.5 year gap I was afraid the old mattress might have mold. I live in the Caribbean so a mattress in a box that I could buy online seemed perfect. I counted on it expanding within the crib to just the right size. It did! It is firm which a crib mattress is supposed to be. I used it after only about 2 hours - it was as thick as the regular crib mattress by then, but the odor was strong so I have decided to let it sit a week as some reviewers recommend before putting baby back on it. I washed all 3 covers but tore the fireproof one putting it on, which made me lose the zipper head after I zipped it up because the bottom closure was torn. For that and the odor I deducted 1 star but otherwise this was definitely a good buy.

Great foam mattress for a crib. It is not as thick as the picture looks, but that is alright because it keeps my son from climbing out of the crib at the lowest setting. It is really firm and it holds his weight so I don't need to worry about him getting stuck or pushed into a soft mattress.

We bought this mattress based on the stellar reviews and will not be using it. We opened the mattress from the box and let it sit out for 3 days prior to placing in the crib. There's a distinct smell, almost potent, that I wasn't expecting for a Green Guard Certified product. It's been out for over 2 weeks and the smell is still very strong, rubbing off onto my baby's skin each morning. It's deep within the mattress and even putting it outside for a few hours a day doesn't get rid of it. I was also disappointed in how soft this mattress is. I thought it would be two sided based on 'crib and toddler' mattress but it is not. I ended up buying another mattress as I simply do not trust this mattress for my baby.

I guess I got lucky! Carefully unpacked the mattress from the plastic bags and left it on a spare bed. I did unzip the cover and straightened it out as the mattress expanded. After 2 days the mattress was fully expanded from edge to edge. No squished ends, sides or middle. The was a slight odor, like all new products, and that went away also. I would consider this a firm mattress for a child. I put it on the floor and layed on it. I weigh 134 Lbs. and it was firm to me. Yes, I would buy this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This matress is perfect for my newborn and/or my toddler. It came in air tight packaging with instructions to open it and let it rise to its full form for x amount of time. I love that it comes with a washable cover so if my toddler or newborn have any accidents or spills I can remove and wash the cover. It’s the perfect amount of firmness and plushness for a little one. I definitely recommend this mattress.

My daughter likes to jump on her mattress and cracked the top to the plastic mattress she had before. We search for a mattress for a toddler that didn’t have that plastic coating due to that. This mattress is perfect. It is fluffy and soft and durable it won’t crack when she jumps on it.

I really wished I would have read the recent reviews from 2017 before this mattress was purchased. Like others have said this mattress does not fully expand in 48 hours. It has been a week now and the ends still haven't fully risen. Most of the mattress has but the ends..not so much. They are mishapen. I did everything it said to do , rolled it out, took the plastic off, and let it lay flat. I even figured just to make sure I would give it more time. This mattress isn't as thick as it seems online. I think that the company has changed the product since all of those good reviews a few years ago, cheaped out. It did not come with a waterproof cover either. I am going to have to try and buy something else to put underneath it because it isn't all that thick. Overall I am not impressed and would not recommend this product. I expected better quality from Graco.

After unwrapping this it smelled horrible I don't know if something leaked on it or if it's just the foam because there was no stains or anything and it was compressed the whole house is starting to smell like the matress. I don't understand and am very disappointed. I will be taking this back as soon as I can I even washed the sheets it came with and it stinks still. To me it isn't a chemical smell, but a mildew smell. I was so excited but now I just want it out!!

Purchased by my mother and by the time it came, I was extremely skeptical that it wouldnt inflate to it’s full size; especially after reading all the other reviews... I left it to sit for 3 days on a level surface and watched it bulk up and did notice, just like most of the reviews, that one side didnt inflate. Since my baby is due in less than 2 weeks, I am very reluctant to take the mattress back and find another. I ended up just re-reading the instructions and fluffed it out like the paper said, gave it another couple of hours and voila! Extremely happy with the end result; Its not too firm, perfectly breathable, the waterproof cover is extremely soft and it looks great with the Graco crib!

Read the reviews was pretty iffy about buying because I read some of the ratings and some said their's didn't fluff up the way it should've and other reviews stating it had a very bad smell to it but we took the chance, and glad we did! Nothing wrong what so ever! Fluffed up the way it should and no odor detected! Can't wait til our prince is here!!
