Although it is a classic roast, I find more of a dark roast which I really like. It has a splendid aroma and does not leave an oily film. It’s my new favorite coffee.

I have tasted other coffees in my lifetime, and I have returned to this one. This one is simply the very best. Now I don't buy anything else. It's superb, delicious, and rich in flavor. I highly recommend.

I bought this because of the price and was concern that it would be too acidic. I was pleasantly surprised that it is very tasty coffee and not acidic like cheap brands.

Bring back old packaging! It’s great coffee and certainly deserves packaging that preserves the flavor. That cardboard box is difficult to open and doesn’t easily facilitate scooping up the grounds.

Not sure what you are trying to accomplish or save with the packaging but it was a difficult open and I really did not see the savings in recycle packaging. The coffee itself was not bad but compared to the seattle's best in the bag I will go that way next time. My recommendation put it in an easier open bag.

I have been buying Members Mark coffee for several years. The coffee is great; always good and a solid value. The issue I have is the packaging. I hate this new package. Once opened there is no way to “seal” the package to keep air out and flavor in. Sure it’s recyclable…so is a plastic “can”. Just no way to seal in flavor once open.

This is not the best tasting coffee. For years we have bought different brands and then started getting Member's Mark Columbian Grounds. It was great coffee for what it was and then they got the bright idea to discontinue it and replace it with this. As with many changes in products offered lately at my local Sam's Club, management has decided to substitute an inferior product in quality and taste for a greater unit cost. We first noticed this with the frozen pizza, then multiple other products we normally buy including frozen chicken fingers, hotdogs, sausages, prepared meals salad items, condiments and sauces. Now we buy more items from other stores because the quality of what we normally buy has gone down while the prices have gone up. If our local clubs continue on this trend, we won't have much of a reason to continue shopping there.

I don’t know if this was a bad batch or just how this coffee is roasted, but it was honestly terrible. No matter how we brewed it, we couldn’t get a decent cup. When we made it weaker, it tasted like dirty water with almost no flavor. When we made it stronger, it became extremely bitter and acidic—completely overpowering. We tried multiple ratios and methods and couldn’t find any middle ground. In the end, we threw out most of the container (about 35 out of 40 oz) and bought something else. Very disappointing.

Members Mark changed the blend of this coffee from a medium to dark roast to a straight medium roast coffee. Taste is not good now. Why was it changed?? A rip off. But Members Mark doesn't care.

Members Mark Coffee in the bag tasted way better than this. What changed? Packaging or the actual coffee? - Been a Members Mark Coffee Drinker for 4+ years - same coffee - nothing else. But you just lost a customer.
