Hi, thanks for your feedback! Our instant bone broth is designed to be a protein snack that also provides hydration. Sodium is essential to providing hydration. The majority of the sodium occurs naturally from the ingredients used, not the addition of salt. Additionally, all salt is not created equal. We use only a small amount of sea salt solely for the nutritional benefit of the added minerals. Natural sea salt used sparingly can provide a plethora of health benefits including, but not limited to, strengthening the immune system.
