The texture of the foam makes it feel much more robust than one would think. The river fits nice and tight, too! The cup doesn't get crazy hot on the outside like paper cups either. I found myself quite satisfied using these. The one thing I felt might be lacking is that there doesn't seem to be much venting. When my coffee gets cooler toward the end I tend to slurp it a bit. There was kinda a vacuum sort of effect. A small thing.

These are definitely leak proof so if you accidentally forget it in your car overnight you're not going to find a puddle in your cup holder! Durable, well designed and eco friendly, what more could you ask for?

Do you prefer cups with an easy on / easy off lid? Does having a sturdy reusable cup that can be thrown away at the end of the day sound like something you could use? If those things sound like an ideal to go cup, then this cup right here is for you! We, as a family, are obsessed with this cup. Even the seam on the side of the cup is low profile and doesn't interfere with lid closure. Our only complaint is they aren't bigger. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the DIXIE TO GO PRINTED PAPER CUPS WITH LIDS, 12OZ HOT CUPS, 14CT about a month ago, and they have absolutely served their purpose and more. I actually bought these to take with me to my Tue classes for coffee and they were perfect. Then unexpectedly, my son had to have a dental surgery, he's 11 and has down syndrome, and afterwards, he couldn't drink from a straw for a few days. I had no idea what to do, because he is pretty dependant on straws, as he has poor muscle tone due to the down syndrome. I remembered I had those cups and decided to give them a try. It was perfect! I couldn't be happier with my purchase! They were durable enough for him and also for my coffee on the go. So portable too! I love the lids, and they are very secure. I turned my 11 year old lose with them and had no fear!

The coffee doesn't get cold by the time I finish it and I don't get coffee over load. I would rather have a disposable cup so I don't have to keep track of it when it is empty.

They also hold up well when the hot liquid has been in them for a while. They also hold the heat in them for a long. Happy to have received these cups.

Every morning I make my coffee and pour it into these paper cups and head out the door. My beverage stays warm for a couple hours. I also don't have to worry about anything spilling out because the lids are very securely fit on the cup. I am very satisfied with this product and I look forward to buying more from the brand!
