When I pour in hot drinks, the outside of the cup gets uncomfortably hot to hold, and I often have to grab a napkin or add a sleeve so I don't burn my hand. I like the feel of the outer layer of cup. The cups are convenient and the lids usually snap on securely, which is nice for quick trips, but the heat protection really isn't great. For short use they're fine, but for very hot beverages, I wouldn't rely on them without extra protection.

The cup is light weight and pretty. Didn't have a strong smell opening the package. They hold liquid well and the lid goes on easily. It did feel a bit flimsier once hot liquid was added but it didn't fall apart or anything, I had it for several hours. It didn't hold heat in as well as I'd hoped. But I'd use it again in a fix.

They have a non slip grip and are disposable with 80% plant based materials. The lids have a simple opening that cannot be closed. These are what I expect for a fancy disposable cup. No need for a cup sleeve. The insulated feature is nice, and the large size option is great for many uses. It held my large coffee with no problems, no leaking from the bottom or from the lid. It kept my drink reasonably warm. The lid feels secure as well. A great option when the need for disposable cups arise.
