It's weird because the outside of the cup is kinda soft because the way the foam is, which makes it nice to the touch. The lids go on securely and I haven't had any issues when the lids coming off or being loose, which is great considering I tend to accidentally knock these over!

Doesn't get as hot in your hands as other brands do. We normally put these in our travel trailer when we go camping as they are easily disposable and perfect for the grandkids. Lid protects from bugs trying fly in while at the same time keeping my coffee warm while I sip on it. I also love the fact that they have some sort of coating on them making for a good grip. I also do reuse these several times. These are number one choice of throw away cups.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] cups are well made. keeps beverages hot for a couple of hours with led on. cute motivating messages and cute designs on side of cup. lids do not leak and cups do not get soggy. lids are easy to press on and easy to lif off. sustainable product and made of plant based materials, no poly foam or things that are bad for you. Does not take up room in landfills because they decompose quickly.

This cup is made with paper and not foam so I can do a little to help. Does what Dixie is known for-keeps the coffee hot and doesn't burn your hand, in the meantime! I Like the designs, as well!

Other to go cups with lids don't 100% keep my drink from spilling but this one does it! It's tight and easy to get on the cups. I also don't need a cup cover since these cups are thick enough to keep my hands safe from a hot cup.
