It is safe to use in all HE (high -efficiency) washing machines. I really like this product. I had been looking for a new laundry detergent that would clean my laundry well, rinse well and be gentle on mine and my family's skin as I had been having issues with my laundry detergent not evaporating fully, leaving blue residue and of course irritating my skin. ALL is the #1 recommended sensitive detergent brands by dermatologists which was very assuring. I was very pleasantly surprised when opening the detergent...I was happy to see that it is clear so I won't have blue residue left behind. I'm a fan of fresh scents so although it is clear and caters to being gentle on skin sensitivities I was very impressed by its really great scent! After completing my first load of laundry I found the following to be true: the liquid is clear, it's scent is very fresh, it rinses with no residue left behind, it still smells fresh when the load is complete and best of all no skin irritations thus far! Overall I'm very impressed and will be switching this to my primary detergent moving forward. I 100% recommend it and give it an honest 10/10 review! Try it! I've washed everything from my husband's workout clothes, to my eight year old son's play clothes, to my dog's bedding, and everything came out smelling clean and fresh. The scent is very light and gentle; perfect for a "sensitive" laundry detergent. But, it's noticeable enough that you can still enjoy the scent. I accidentally left a load in the washer for almost a full (warm) day, and they still smelled nice when I finally had a chance to put the items in the dryer. There wasn't a mildew or old funk smell; they smelled clean. Bonus: the detergent lid is an easily readable measurement cup, so you're not squinting to see how much you've filled compared to how much you need. I definitely recommend! We always have to use separate detergents in our household for our undergarments and pants due to sensitivities.
