I used this in a hand wash on my silk flowers that have been up in a smoke and pet household. I was about to toss them I decided since I couldn't get to the laundry mat, I have an injury, I would hand wash them. I didn't soak, add anything else or pre treat. I was grossed out, and blown away how dirty that water was, but how beautifully clean they came out. I absolutely love this.
