Cleans effectively and leaves no residue/scent behind, so not much more you could ask of it. Clothing feels clean and good. My son's dirt and grass stained baseball pants (that are white!) and lots of other play clothes that get dirt, food and kids paint on them. I've washed everything from my husband's workout clothes, to my eight year old son's play clothes, to my dog's bedding, and everything came out smelling clean and fresh. The scent is very light and gentle; perfect for a "sensitive" laundry detergent. But, it's noticeable enough that you can still enjoy the scent. I accidentally left a load in the washer for almost a full (warm) day, and they still smelled nice when I finally had a chance to put the items in the dryer. There wasn't a mildew or old funk smell; they smelled clean. Bonus: the detergent lid is an easily readable measurement cup, so you're not squinting to see how much you've filled compared to how much you need. I definitely recommend!
