What I didn't expect was such a delightful smell. As I was pouring it into the washing machine the scent made me smile. My daughter's clothes came out so clean and fresh. It cleaned my family's heavily-soiled laundry without any problems. My husband works outdoors in the heat as a contractor, so his clothing gets sweaty. He also works at a plant that makes a very fine, gross, black powder, which envelopes and inundates his clothes from head to toe. This detergent cleaned out the dirt, sweat, grit and powder, and he commented to me that his clothing smelled fresh and clean during the day, even in the heat. It is a soft scent too, not overpowering or like strong perfume. I definitely recommend this product, and plan to purchase it in place of our usual detergent. A+! If I don't use a sensitive soap, I break out in hives, my skin is itchy and I have a bad reaction that exists for several days a after discontinuing use. One of the downfalls of using sensitive skin laundry detergent is that it has always been unscented leaving my laundry with a slight uncleaned odor. This is the first time I have tried a scented sensitive laundry detergent and I have to say I am amazed. I am greatly impressed with the spring fresh scent. It is good for both genders, not woodsy or floral and the scent is NOT overpowering. It was fresh and clean smelling. I noticed it when transferring clothes from the washer to the dryer. It was just enough scent that my clothing smelled clean and fresh. I barely noticed the scent when removing clean clothing from the dryer. I did notice that my clothing smelled fresher and did not have residual body odors that I have typically smelled with other sensitive detergents. Now my laundry was clean, bright and clean. I am going to search high and low in my store to purchase this, ongoing. Finally, a sensitive detergent that does what I need it to do. I washed my couch covers with this and they came out nice and clean. I do wish the smell was a bit stronger, but for a sensitive product it I wasn't expecting it to be too strong.
