It says it's a dermatologist recommended detergent that is free of dyes with a hypoallergenic fragrance. I used this on my lap blankets and a blanket my kitty sleeps on as she has very sensitive skin and we both enjoyed it it has I light fragrance, nothing strong which I liked . A clean smell is the best way to describe it.
