I can pretty well control my bladder during the day therefore, the lighter pads are more than adequate. At night when I suddenly am awakened by coughing it catches me off guard. They are super exorbitant and the extra wide back kept me completely dry all night. The outer lining is thicker than some other brands, so it does not easily tear. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As the title implies, I thought the Poise Extra Coverage Overnight pads were large and very bulky. I did like the length of the pads. Because I am a bit larger then I used to be, this was a plus for me. They could've been slightly narrower as this is where it felt bulky. The first couple nights took some getting used to. I generally wear the briefs so with the pad it was somewhat uncomfortable. The idea the pad would shift while I slept was disturbing in case I DID have an accident. For those of you who don't mind the pad, then I would recommend it. Although I didn't have an accident worth talking about, I believe the absorbancy rating would definitely be on the high side.

So comfortable in fact that I forget I have them on. I no longer have to worry about leakage! I highly recommend these poise pads and feel safe and protected wearing them.

I purchased the new overnight in the black package yesterday. They do not work as effective as the old overnight pads. The wide width at the back does not help and they don't absorb as well as the old overnight. Why the change? Now I have to find another pad. I had been using them for quite a while.
