I testing wearing the pad overnight. It is bulky but better than use a full disposable garment. They are super exorbitant and the extra wide back kept me completely dry all night. The outer lining is thicker than some other brands, so it does not easily tear. Unfortunately, with no wings to hold them in place, these pads still fold up and expose portions of underwear.
