tastes like coffee bean water.. watered down 10x. No flavor, no amount of coffee grounds seems to make a difference. Tastes like absolutely nothing.

We had bought Sam’s donut shop for years, then they stopped selling it. They finally brought it back in a cheap cardboard container that does not reseal once open. Of course the price increased significantly as well. However the most disappointing thing is it is NOT the same as before. The taste is nothing like the original Sam’s donut shop.

Members Mark products have always impressed me, but not this one. Our normal coffee was out of stock so we tried it. When I bought it, I questioned the packaging. When I opened it at home, it was iffy. It did not feel like the seal was tight. The grind was not great. It was basically powder. Very little flavor. Completely lacked body. It tasted like gas station coffee brewed by a 16 year old who doesn't drink coffee.

The coffee taste great, and the price is good, but the new paper packaging will not seal your coffee grounds air tight and fresh. Good riddance to plastic packaging for sure, but just know you should transfer the grounds to something that seals better after opening.

Sam's has moved from an easy bag, to a bag with a terrible plastic zipper and now to a cardboard box. This doesn't keep the coffee fresh. It doesn't stay closed. It's cheap and weak. Bought Folger's when it was on sale JUST so I could have a real container to keep my coffee in. I throw this box away every time.

So glad Donut Shop is back in the Club. Interesting new container. Very fresh coffee, balanced. Easy to scoop out of the container.

COFFEE IS GREAT! Packaging is terrible! Save your Folgers plastic can. You’ll want to use it to keep this coffee fresh. Whoever came up with the new packaging for SAMS coffees should be fired!!!
