Sad product

We have gotten the Star wars Lego advent calendar for years, in the past we have been disappointed for having the same builds in multiple years but this calendar is lacking So much. Not any good mini figures, no ships and nothing that is exciting to be opening daily that gives us of the star wars we love. Droid is a cute idea but could have involved other characters or ships and items we love from Star wars.

Worst Advent Calendar

We purchase the star wars advent calendar every year and look forward to the various builds. This year is hands down the worst. Besides no minifigs, some of the builds include claw, chair, tool bench and crate of Droid parts. We are disappointed and have come to expect better quality pieces based on past advent calendars. This year seems like a cheap money grab

Usually great but this year is bad

We get this advent every year and it has always been fabulous. This year it is almost entertaining how bad it is. A box, a chair, nothing Christmasy. We keep some items each year and have a big collection that we bring out as decorations and the comparison is stark. So far not a single build will be kept. It is shocking how bad it is. What the heck is going on Lego!?! Probably won't buy one next year although I am really sad since it is usually an important and fun part of Christmas.

Worst Advent Calendar ever

I'm sorry, I don't like to write negative reviews but come on Lego! This year's Star Wars calendar is the worst ever. We have been collecting these since they came out. The builds are terrible and obscure. Especially after the 2024 one which was the best ever, this years is super disappointing. It's cheap and lazy. I would not recommend this year's. Instead get the Lego city one which has been fabulous.

Worst SW Advent Calendar of All Time

I've been picking up the Star Wars Advent Calendar annually since its introduction in 2011. This year's offering is by far the worst in 15 years of the calendar. Putting a random droid head in a build that has nothing to do with the IP does not make it “Star Wars”. We pay a premium for this calendar, and as such expect better than this. I hope next year's calendar is a return to form, otherwise this will be my last year picking it up.

Lacking in build and fun

Each year these seem to get worse. Multiple days that have a single small piece/character in them. You used to have an entire Minifig or a mini display to build. If you opened a tiny character it would come with a small build, now you get a single small character piece in multiple days. What a waste. Not only has the price gone up but the builds and pieces have gone down. The only reason we have this one is because a family member bought it for us. Glad I've saved older years. We will just do those over since they're way better. Very disappointing calendar this year.

Tradition no more

We have been buying Lego advent calendars for years. It has become a staple in our boys lives that they look forward to every December 1. This Lego advent calendar was such a disappointment. There are very few builds. And most of the figures they've seen before. I don't know how a coffee stand is relevant for kids. Really questions if we're gonna continue this moving forward, very disappointed. Really expected better from Lego.

Not worth the money

The builds are flimsy, it's overall very disappointing corporate greed but not a nice advent calendar. 90% of the doors remained unbuilt as the contents were just too abstract and not appealing at all. I had to Google several times what the idea would be to figure it out.

Lego Cash Grab - Please Save Your Money!

So far my son is on Day 12 and he said that "this is a total waste of money; not fun with little or no assembly required of pieces." For example day 9 was just one crate piece with miscellaneous lego pieces to throw in it. We have bought Lego advent calendars for over 9 years and this will be our last.

A box of spare parts

On day 9 of this calendar you "build" a box of spare parts. What I mean is that you put some random droid parts into a box. You do not connect any LEGO elements. This is the entire calendar in a nutshell - a box of spare parts. It's so poetic I almost feel like someone at LEGO is trolling us. We have been buying these calendars every year for as long as we can remember, and have never been close to this disappointed. My wife is threating to organize a class action lawsuit and my son said he would rather squeeze lemon juice in his eyes than keep opening these windows. Please, LEGO, don't ruin such a fun part of Christmas! At least, my sons managed to make some unhinged droid builds out of it - hopefully the "professionals" can get some inspiration from their genius.
