There is simply no comparison as the G5 is like a work of art. I cannot belive how literal works of art look like they are still in the museum on the G5! Set up is very easy, and if you have a receiver and amazing speakers, this will work hand in hand. The speakers on the G5 are really great, but nothing beats having a quality receiver and speakers to get the most. The better the sound, the better the picture qualiy shines through. We all know that in theaters audiences will forgive a under quality picture screen, but the minute the sound gets wonky, they will scream out about it. This is my early holiday gift to myself and family (but who am I kidding, it's all for me!) and it has gotten me in the holiday spirit much earlier than usual. So picture quality, value, and sound quality all get high marks for me. If you're feeling like you need a real treat (and serve one) this year, the G5 will check all the boxes for you.

Newer tech means more accurate colors, lower energy consumption and brighter overall picture compared to previous generation. So LG improved in every important measurable metric. Only negative is the limited feature set with the included TV remote - which I think is a downgrade. If you have the TV connected to a A/V receiver then it won't matter. But if you have multiple devices directly connected to the TV then the limited remote becomes a hassle.Thankfully you can use the LG app to control the TV. But the core TV feature set - displaying excellent picture - is the best so far when it comes to OLEDs.
