[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shell is made of plastic. And it’s very lightweight but seems rather sturdy and I expect it to last a good amount of time. The device has bagel defrost and cancel buttons and the dial goes all the way up to eight took three minutes to get my bagel, nice and toasty like I like it, which is on par with the old toaster. I have my biggest point of contention is something parents are going to want to pay attention to. It took six minutes for the metal top to be cool enough to touch so if you have little ones you wanna keep that in mind. I’ve used it twice, and results are consistent . The ability to wrap the court underneath it is awesome, but I haven’t figured out how to get it to sit flush and flat on the countertop because the plug-in doesn’t lay flush against the machine . Overall, 10/10.

The outside is a chic beige color that is all the rage with neutrals being super “in” right now, and the actual toaster part is metal, so safety isn’t a huge concern. I love how the 4 slice portions are not separated, so you can choose to even toast a longer slice of sourdough or another “long” type of bread, making this toaster extremely versatile in my opinion! The plastic doesn’t feel as heavy upon touching it, but that helps the toaster stay sleek and lightweight. From the outside, the plastic doesn’t look cheap at all- it looks very chic with the beige color. I would especially recommend this for anyone’s first toaster in an apartment, especially college students and those in their early 20s like myself! I’m about to move out of my home and cannot wait to bring this toaster with me to my new kitchen!

It toasts well for regular bread and other items but also does well with bagels. When used in normal mode, I was concerned because the inner heating elements didn't glow orange. It still performed as expected, so if you see this it isn't a glitch, it's just how it operates. The inner elements do glow during the bagel and defrost modes. Overall this is a great performing toaster in a slim form factor that will fit in well in any kitchen.

Even though it is plastic it feels and looks more high end than it is. I like that the controls are more analog than others. I don’t need a computer in my toaster, ok? However, the knob that adjusts the toast level seem a little counter intuitive to me but I remembered how to adjust it after a couple times. I love the long slots—I was able to toast an entire slice of homemade sourdough bread without cutting it in half. Overall this toaster is a great value and I would recommend it!

I love that you can do 4 pieces of toast but you can also do a long baguette or sub roll as well. I like how the front lights up with the buttons as well.

I like that it has a removable tray to catch the crumbs and easily empty it out. The cord doesn’t wrap up the nicest underneath, but that’s not a big issue unless you’re storing it. It is a little flimsy, and it doesn’t seem super durable, so time will tell if it lasts.
