[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this TV so much! It's the perfect size. The built in backlight feature was something I didn't know I needed. I appreciate that it's adaptive as well. It took a little bit of getting used to as it adjusts to whatever you're watching, but I couldn't be happier. The Roku interface is a plus and easy to maneuver. The audio quality is great as well. I'm so pleased with this TV.

This is not my first Philips Roku TV, but it's my first with Ambilight built in and my WHOLE family is loving it. Setup was seamless, and the glow around this TV is a wow factor from the very beginning. I was excited to test out the color syncing with a super colorful movie, and while Inside Out was awesome, I've actually loved the effect the Ambilight has on some darker shows (Severance, Pluribus) even more. The whole room is a mood. Not sure I'll ever be able to go back to "regular" TV... Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Ambilight Roku TV is a great television to use. It's very user friendly and the UI is easy to use and access. I definitely enjoy the backlit LEDs and how it integrates with whatever you watch or play on the TV. It comes with the ability to turn off the backlights if it becomes too much or want it to be dimmer in the room. The resolution is pretty great too, comparable to other leading brands. The operating system is quick and very responsive with no lags in between use and opening apps is a breeze. Overall the TV is very well worth it.

The lighting along the back of the tv (ambilight) was unique! I like that you can adjust its brightness or turn it off completely! It’s a good size for the bedroom! I love it and think it’s worth considering for your next TV!

I love watching movies and this TV brings life to cinema a way that I’ve never seen before. I am constantly impressed by the reactivity of the lights and its ability to perfectly match colors with the movie. Set up is extremely easy and the remote is awesome. I have other Roku TVs, but this one definitely has the most advanced features of all of them. It also has easy connectivity, and I’ve even been able to airplay from my phone. Great if you already have Roku TVs, just makes set up that much faster. If you’re thinking about getting one, I would absolutely do it. It’s energy efficient and brings TV to life.

I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 due to it’s lack of compatibility with soundbars. It’s only compatible with Roku Ready soundbars (yes, read that again), so it made my existing soundbar useless. As a result, I had to buy a whole new soundbar (Philips B5306) that I didn’t need. I feel like this is an important piece of information that should be specified in the product details or at least in the instructional manual, but it’s nowhere to be found. I eventually found out by calling Philips’ Tech Support %26 they broke the news to me. Other than the soundbar issue, it’s a good tv %26 we enjoy the lights, especially for movies. My request is for Philips to make even larger versions as well like 75”, 86”, 98” etc. We’ll be first in line for one of those too. Go BIG!

Sound quality is awful!! I am looking now to purchase a sound bar . Cheaply made tvs and very thin tends to have terrible sound quality . Other than that the tv is nice and very easy to install especially if you have a Roku

like the ambient lighting but tv has terrible sound %26 volume. very disappointing.

I've had 2 of these TVs defective right out of the box. The first one the backlight on one side was out so the screen was dark on one side. The replacement TV, the screen was fine but the sound would randomly cut in and out. It would freeze up and the apps would glitch while watching shows. It also turned off by itself a few times. Won't buy a Philips TV ever again.
