So easy to set up! Took less than half an hour from the time I took it out of the box to the set up with my Roku account. The ambilights are a nice touch. Picture looks great too.

We had a 32" TV in on of our kids' rooms, and it broke, so I ordered this 43" TV to replace it, because it's a good size for a kids TV and they are already familiar with the Roku system. When the order was placed, I was a bit nervous, because the tracking said it was coming from across the country, and I've seen reviews (on other TVs at other websites) about TVs not surviving delivery across town, never mind across several states. But the TV arrived a few days earlier than expected and was in perfect condition out of the box. Super easy to set up with the existing Roku account, and the setup gives you the option to add apps you already have accounts for. The TV is super light weight. The legs are sturdy and for this 43" TV, they are 30" apart, in case you need put it on a shorter surface. For this price point ($229 when I ordered it): -The picture is superb. I watched a couple of movies and a TV show after I set it up to test it out. Usually TVs in ths price range are merely adequate for casual viewing, but this one is way better than expected in terms of clarity. I set it to movie mode, and in my opinion, everything looks as it should. -The viewing angles are really good. From about 6 feet away at a 45 degree angle, I couldn't notice any washing out of the colors or other unnatural dimming/dulling of the image from the sides. TV snobs might disagree, but trust me, this one is fine. -The sound quality is good enough for a kids room. The ambilight feature is really cool. I've seen some video reviews where they say it's kind of gimmicky, but if that's true, then it's a cool gimmick, because it actually does feel a bit more immersive, because it pushes some of the on screen lighting and colors into the background of the TV. Bonus, you can adjust the ambilight feature down in increments of 10%. I set this one to 50% and it's stll plenty immersive. You can also turn the ambilight feature off, completely, if you want. I'm generally not a fan of the Roku remote controls, because I always accidentally adjust the volume, since the volume toggle is on the side. The remote does everything it needs to do for this TV, though, and the kids are fine with it - they just keep losing remotes, but the Roku remote for our old TV works with this, and so do all the spare Roku remotes we have (with no microphone button, because this TV does not have the voice control feature). We are running a Wifi-6 router and had no issues with connectivity, load times/buffering, etc. Everything functions quickly, even skipping forward or rewinding, and navigating menus and apps with minimal (almost no) delay. If you are shopping for a 43" TV, especially for a kids room, don't overlook this set. The kids will enjoy the ambilight feature, for sure. I want to get another one for my room, now. Good news is that the 50" and 55" versions are available for local pick-up. A 43" Roku TV with ambilight at this price point and quality is hard to beat.

I love the lights in the back and they change colors based on what you're watching or playing. The remote is generic but that's typical of a Roku TV. So far so great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old TV was going on 13 years old- it was a clunky thing, radiated so much heat that it was grueling to use during the summer, and the image was starting to go. Not great, it needed to go. I was thrilled to receive this Phillips TV and promptly set it up. Set up was super easy and took no time at all (had my bf on speed dial in case I needed any help!), and I was amazed by the vividness in the color and the crispness of the image. I put on a few different videos to test out the colors, some nature videos, video game play throughs, movies I knew had vibrant scenes. I’m intrigued by the technology that allows the color to change so quickly, and appreciate that there’s also the option to shut it off if the occasion requires it. Sound is clear and with no delay, and the control is easy to use. Maybe best of all? Hover your hand over the screen and there’s no heat radiating from it! What a godsend!

The sound and quality is magical and the touch of light with picture movement adds to the dramatic and realistic affect. Remote doesn’t require much. Super simple to use and straight to the point. It was super easy to transfer all my accounts and apps to TV.

I love watching movies and this TV brings life to cinema a way that I’ve never seen before. I am constantly impressed by the reactivity of the lights and its ability to perfectly match colors with the movie. Set up is extremely easy and the remote is awesome. I have other Roku TVs, but this one definitely has the most advanced features of all of them. It also has easy connectivity, and I’ve even been able to airplay from my phone. Great if you already have Roku TVs, just makes set up that much faster. If you’re thinking about getting one, I would absolutely do it. It’s energy efficient and brings TV to life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Ambilight Roku TV is a great television to use. It's very user friendly and the UI is easy to use and access. I definitely enjoy the backlit LEDs and how it integrates with whatever you watch or play on the TV. It comes with the ability to turn off the backlights if it becomes too much or want it to be dimmer in the room. The resolution is pretty great too, comparable to other leading brands. The operating system is quick and very responsive with no lags in between use and opening apps is a breeze. Overall the TV is very well worth it.

I appreciate that it's adaptive as well. It took a little bit of getting used to as it adjusts to whatever you're watching, but I couldn't be happier. The Roku interface is a plus and easy to maneuver. The audio quality is great as well. I'm so pleased with this TV.

It can connect to the phone Roku app which is easy to set up and get multiple functions. Many Chanels and app can be added to the TV. The color is so good and bright. This make me so impressed. I wish I can get the bigger size. Thank you @influenster and @philiptv to give me the chance to try this Philip Amblight tv.

Most frustrating device I've ever purchased, TV is fine, but Roku is a joke, Good luck trying to make all those garbage channels go away. I hate it.
