The product meets my needs

Bought for my father, 83 years old, have a 0.6 acre lawn to care. This is the product I wanted: vertical storage to save space in garage; self-propelled with variable speed, my father won't need to push hard; 22" cutting width enough to cover the whole lawn area. Overall, I'm satisfied.

Powerful, Easy to Use, and Built to Last!

This mower exceeded my expectations! The powerful Briggs & Stratton 150cc engine starts effortlessly thanks to the ReadyStart system—no priming or choking needed. It handles my thick grass with ease, and the rear-wheel drive makes it super easy to maneuver, even on slopes. I love the versatility of the 3-in-1 cutting system and the simple single-lever height adjustment. The build feels solid with its 22” steel deck, and the large rear wheels glide smoothly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and efficient mower!

Makes Mowing So Much Easier

First impressions: this mower is a beast! It was quick to assemble, and everything felt well-designed. The auto choke made starting a breeze — no priming needed. I tried the bagging mode today and it picked up clippings really well. The self-propelled drive is strong but easy to control. Excited to keep using it this season.

Weekend Warrior’s Dream Mower

After years of wrestling a cranky push mower, this rear-wheel-drive beast feels like cheating. The pace is quick enough to keep me moving but never drags me, and the engine fires so reliably that I’ve stopped keeping starter spray in the shed. I love that I can tip it upright when I’m done—huge space-saver in my single-car garage. Mulching leaves into confetti is oddly satisfying, yet the bag snaps on cleanly when my wife insists on a “tidier” look. Only adjustment so far was lowering the handle for my height, which took moments. If yard work usually kills your Saturday, this thing gives half the day back.

Easy Setup, Powerful Performance

Just got this mower and used it for the first time today — super easy to set up right out of the box. The engine started on the first pull, and the self-propel feature made a big difference on my uneven lawn. The cutting height adjustment is smooth, and the 3-in-1 design is great for switching between bagging and mulching. Feels solid and powerful for the price.

Finally, a Mower That Fits My Life—Not Just My Law

I’m mowing almost half an acre with a decent slope, and the variable-speed rear-wheel drive on this Yard Force makes it feel like I’m strolling behind a powered cart rather than pushing a 22-inch steel deck. The Briggs & Stratton 150 cc engine fires up on the first pull every time thanks to ReadyStart, so I’m not yanking a cord for ten minutes to get going. What really sold me, though, is the Vertical Storage Technology—after I rinse the deck, the whole unit tips up and parks flush against the wall, freeing an extra couple of feet in my single-car garage. Cut quality is even across mulch, bag, and side-discharge modes, and the single-lever height adjustment makes dialing in the right look painless. Zero buyer’s remorse so far—just shorter grass and more weekend free time.

Space-Saving Beast With Smooth Power

Swapped out a 12-year-old front-wheel-drive mower for this self-propelled RWD model and wish I’d done it sooner. The speed-adjustable drive lets me slow down for thick St. Augustine patches and speed up on the flat without touching the throttle—just nudge the handle lever and go. It chews through leaves in mulching mode, leaving almost no clumps behind, and the seven-position deck adjustment actually covers the full range Yard Force claims. After the job, I fold the handle, tilt it upright, and it occupies less space than my string trimmer—huge win for my crowded shed. Smooth, sturdy, and surprisingly quiet for a gas mower; 5 stars all day.

Hill-Climbing Muscle, Closet-Sized Footprint

I’ve put this mower through two demanding spring clean-ups and it’s already earned a permanent spot in my garage. The rear-wheel drive practically pulls itself up my sloped backyard—no more pushing a 22-inch deck uphill—and the pace tops out around a brisk walking speed, so I’m not stuck crawling along. The Briggs & Stratton engine has yet to miss on the first pull; I still brace for the old “prime and hope” ritual, but the ReadyStart really is one-and-done. What surprised me most, though, is the vertical storage trick: when I flip it up against the wall it frees enough floor space for the kids’ bikes. Switching between mulch, bag, and side discharge takes seconds, and the clippings bag actually seals tight (my last mower loved to dust my legs). Minor gripe: the handle release knobs are a bit stiff the first few uses, but they loosen quickly. If you want a workhorse that feels built for the long haul yet doesn’t hog the shed, this is it.

Big Bang for the Buck

The variable speed feature allows for a different pace depending on what area of my yard I'm cutting.
