[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a month or so ago. First May I say it is an amazing tv, great picture and amazing sound, surpassing a friends sound bar. The only snag was the lack of UK “catch up” apps. However LG have been amazing, their service centre took charge and over a period of a month all the catch up apps bar one have come in. The AI sound setting is fantastic and the upscaling on the picture from dvds is likewise amazing. The only thing it is lacking is a 3D setting, which for some unknown reason has been dropped from recent tvs. Set up was easy and the abundance of HDMI sockets really helps with today’s myriad of connections needed. Although a little pricy, well worth the expense. After all you get what you pay for don’t you?

AI, OLED, a whopping 77 inches, and 4k-it really sets the standard for other televisions. The sound and picture quality are both deeply impressive. It honestly feels like you’re stepping into the screen lol! I couldn’t stop staring at it. The new AI Picture Pro is no gimmick; it intuitively enhances scenes in real time. I’m currently moving and can’t wait to explore it more. And let’s talk design: ultra-sleek, almost bezel less, and somehow both bold and minimal. It’s a tech lover like myself’s dream. First of all I love how thin this TV is I originally planned to hang it on the wall with the included wall mount, but because of the built in molding on my walls I couldn't get it to sit flush since my wall, I ended up getting a TV stand online to mount it and it looks really good even so. So, if you don't have a free wall to mount the G5, don't pass on it just because of this. I love how bright this TV is and how crisp my korean dramas look thanks to the OLED panel. I actually went to a retailer to compare the OLED quality of LG and in particular this model, against the competition and hands down there's no match to how great the picture quality is. I got the OLED83G5 because I wanted something that looked good and had amazing picture quality, and wow, it delivers. The colors are insanely vibrant, and it literally feels like you’re looking at art. Sound-wise, it’s super loud and fills my entire space, no need for a soundbar. Setup was way easier than I expected, and the instructions were actually helpful (rare lol). Plus, it looks exactly like the pics online. If you’re thinking about it, do it. It’s 100% worth it. So unless you want to spend more £ and buy usb stick with extra inconvenience - avoid this new product range LG have confirmed Apps not available in App Store Wouldn’t connect to WiFi Connected via Ethernet and picture no better than half the price 2024 model which has all the apps and connected to my wifi

I am not a fan of the built in OS, or the remote but those could be changed by using a streaming device. I would recommend this TV to anyone looking to improve their home theater setup.
