[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the LG G5 TV for a month, I can honestly say it has been one of the most impressive television upgrades I have ever made. Having previously owned both an early LG Full HD flagship TV and later an LG SUHD TV, I had high expectations, but the G5 has exceeded them in every area. The first thing that stands out is the picture quality. The brightness, contrast, and colour reproduction are exceptional, delivering a viewing experience that feels incredibly lifelike. Whether watching movies, streaming series, or enjoying sports, the level of detail and sharpness is remarkable. The clarity is on another level compared to my previous TVs, making everything look cleaner, smoother, and more immersive. Even regular YouTube videos seem significantly enhanced. Another pleasant surprise has been the sound system. In the past, I often felt that TV speakers were great, with my SUHD model having Harmon Kardon speakers, but the LG G5 blows you away delivers rich, clear, and well-balanced audio. Dialogue comes through crisply, while action scenes and sporting events have a depth and presence that make them much more engaging. Although a dedicated audio system can always add more power and base, the built-in sound quality is excellent for everyday viewing and listening to music. The highlight of my first month with the TV was watching the World Cup. The experience was outstanding. The vivid colours of the pitch, the sharp detail of player movements, and the smooth handling of fast-paced action made every match feel incredibly realistic. Combined with the impressive audio, the atmosphere of the stadium came alive in my living room. The only downgrade I would say is the TV remote, whilst I have always loved the magic remotes since LG released them, I think the G5s remote is a disappointment. Overall, the LG G5 represents a huge leap forward from both my earlier LG Full HD flagship and SUHD televisions. It offers outstanding picture quality, exceptional clarity, and impressive sound performance. After one month of ownership, I am extremely satisfied and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium television experience. Whilst Sony and Samsung offer great options, I believe LG are ahead of the game and would recommend LG TVs to anyone looking to purchase.

I have owned a 65" LG OLED TV - C8 since 2019 which has been flawless. I recently purchased a G5 stand version not to replace my existing LG but instead of my Samsung S95B which after 3.5 years has broken down. The G5 picture quality is truly awesome especially in Filmaker Mode. Bright, vibrant and basically superb. I will always stay with LG in future!

You're not ready for this. I mean, people who want to byu they first Oled TV. 4K, HDR, Dolby Vision, all additional stuff reducing lag, increasing smoothness. Because I'm a hard core gamer, these are the things I'm focused on. You're not ready, my friends. It is paradise.

Overall great products - the tv image quality and sound from sound bar js good. however the only issue is that the TV has a stand (and not to mount on the wall) which is fine, but the soundbar that comes with it doesn’t have any stands. So it just lies on the floor or against the tv table which isn’t ideal. It looks like the soundbar would be better for mounting under the TV on a wall. This was the only disappointing aspect as the products shouldn’t be bundled together or could be made more clear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picture quality is phenomenal, but for as much as this TV costs I would expect a better operating system than webOS and a more functional remote. Picture quality, especially with 4K content and games is gorgeous to look at. Watching the IMAX scenes from the 4K version of Interstellar left me speechless. And the TV took games from my PS5 and made them look new again. For webOS it's the small things like an unintuitive home screen, not being able to change the screen saver, and all the unnecessary bloat that really leave me scratching my head. WebOS is like Windows Mobile was for smart phones - built by people who don't have the slightest clue what consumers want. For the remote it's the combination of the gimmicky magic feature that always turns on when you least expect them to, buttons that are only there because LG's partners paid for them, and buttons that you actually would use missing.

Best TV ever the new OLED tech in this thing gives me picture quality unparalleled to anything I had before including my previous 2020 BX I had. Easy to assemble, reliable delivery. Expensive purchase but definitely worth every penny.
