I love Burt's Beeswax, it makes my lips tingle when i put it on and i really like the peppermint scent. I've always used the tube, so I wanted to try the tin; however, I can't find the tin anywhere in stores. Please Burt's, bring back the tins to the stores, so I don't have to buy it online.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Burts Beeswax Lip Balm for years! No other compares to it. I have dry lips and this lip balm is the only one that works! My must have about 10, I keep one at work, one in my purse, car, and in different spots in the house. Every year my hubby puts a gift set in my Christmas stocking!

Alright, I have tried the cucumber mint burt's bees, the vanilla, pomegranate and the beeswax kinds. The beeswax is my all time favorite out of the bunch because I like that it's thick and gives a matte finish, I'm not a huge fan of the glossy feel in chapsticks and that was the consistency that the others had. One tube of the beeswax chapsticks can last me up to a month, month and a half and I use it daily. I will never stop getting this chapstick because it is the best that I have ever used!

This was the first Burt's Bee's product that I tried, and it will be referred to as my "Gateway product"! It won me over the first time I tried it. It mosturizes without an annoying waxy feeling and it can be used at any time, day or night. I sent a few tubes to a friend serving in Iraq and he has also been converted! I have had to buy the stash packs because my husband and children swipe mine all the time! I love this product~Thanks Burt's Bee's for such a great product!

this is hands down the best lip moisturizer that i have ever used. i love the burning sensation that a couple other reviewers have complained about. i prefer the tin over the tube, but will use either! it goes on very smooth. my lips stay moisturized for a relatively long time, in comparison to chapstick, which i have to put on every few minutes. i can go a few hours before i notice my lips starting to dry again.

A friend of mine turned me on to burt's bees about 12 years ago. Started with the wild lettuce soap, and just escalated! My all time favorite is still the lip balm, you get that cool burst from the mint when you first put it on, and it just lasts and lasts...my lips used to crack and bleed in the winter and now they don't even get chapped because of this!!! LOVE IT!

While the description may state it's the "original", this is not the same formula that made this lip balm amazing and popular 15+ years ago. Although the formula doesn't seem to have changed significantly, the ingredients for the true original, in case anyone would like to know, were listed as: "Beeswax, coconut oil, sunflower oil, tocopheryl acetate & tocopherol (vitamin E), lanolin, peppermint oil, comfrey root extract, rosemary extract." I'm guessing the biggest difference is the omission of vitamin E from the current formula. Hopefully Burt's Bees will consider using the original formula again and return this balm to its former glory. Note how the bee also looked different on the label for the original (see attached image).

I hated having all these chapsticks and lip balms that weren't natural. You end up eating it eventually and the thought of all those chemicals made me sick. So I turned to this! I have a tin almost in every room and my purse. While it won't last long in the winter months or if you are constantly sipping water, the tin lasts forever so you can afford to reapply. I love the peppermint and menthol cooling effect it causes on your lips. It is so refreshing. Give it a try!

I love this stuff, it's the best lib balm out there, but the reason I give it only a "fair" overall rating is the amount you get in the tube. Only about 1/4 of the tube actually has product in it. I just opened one and recently it accidently unscrewed all the way to the bottom and it looked like there was almost no product in it. And it was brand new, I hadn't used any yet. Not very environmentally friendly to have so much packaging and so little actual product.
