I used to use several other lip balms and glosses, but now it's only Burt's Bees for me. This stuff has saved my 61-year-old lips from drying up and blowing away. My husband doesn't like stinky, sticky lipglosses, but he loves soft lips. Burt's Beeswax lip balm to the rescue!

I inherited some fondness for Carmex lip-balm from my husband's family. The problem with Carmex, though, is that no matter what format you buy it in, it makes your lips a slimy mess and leaves a distinct, rather unpleasant after-taste. But hey, it heals your lips nicely, and an application at night will bring soft lips in the morning. Cue this product, which I bought because I refuse to wear the slime during the day. Burt's Balm begins with a freshening/soothing feeling that clearly stems from pleasant peppermint oil- and is that a hint of chamomile?- which gently fades into simple, healthy skin. No abrasive, lingering, highly chemical aftertaste. My sole complaint is that I feel like I have to reapply it more than I'd like, but let's be frank- the feeling of application is great enough it's hard to care, and in light of the chemical-slime from before it's barely worth noting as a price to pay.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My lips can get very dry and since I've started using this lip balm my lips are always soft. I can put this on once and I'm set for the day. I also love the smell! I also wear this over matte lipsticks to add moisture.

I have always had dry lips and could never find a chapstick that worked for me. I then decided to buy this and have been hooked ever since!! I keep this with me wherever i go, whether it be in my pocket, my pencil bag, or my car!! I especially love the tingling feeling it gives my lips and how refreshing it feels. :)

It is all my husband and I ever use. Wonderful for summer and a lip saver during the winter months.Not only is it great alone but I also use some before applying lipstick and gloss. Makes our lips feel so smooth and hydrated for hours. We usually buy the four pack so as not to ever run out. We talk it up and want others to love it as well :) Please dont ever change the recipe!! If you have never tried it give it a go, you will not be disappointed.

I have been using this my whole life - it is an addiction! I had bad dry, chapped lips when I was little and one day my Mom bought me a tin of Burt's Bees lip balm, and there was no turning back. It really moisturizes, it's minty and refreshing, it's natural. It is the ONLY lip balm that I'll ever use. I love it!!

Last Oct., I made a large purchase of several different Burt's Bees products. The items were Christmas gifts for my 3 nieces ages, 21, 17 and 14. Coming back to report they loved everything! There are 3 very happy young girls down in south Florida tonight. They carry your products everywhere; including kayaking! :-) Thank you to all at Burt's Bees, great customer service, super products. I love the feel and smell of it. I like that there's no sunscreen in it because I slick this on before bedtime a lot so there's no reason to have the sunscreen.

Burt's Bees Beeswax mint and honey lip balm is the only brand that works when my family's lips are chapped. The honey flavor has been our standby favorite -- soothing to the lips and to the olfactory senses, due to the scent of real beeswax. The new honey flavor has a cloying smell, and isn't as soothing. Please bring back the original honey flavor!

This one , I like the peppermint coolness, it just feels almost too thick. I will see as time goes on, if my lips feel good....*crossing fingers* :)
