I have used the tins of lip balm forever! I used to use bag balm, but I live in Arizona and the bag balm melts in my purse. Burt's bees does not! I like the tin because I use my fingernail to "scoop out" the balm and apply it. I feel this method is more sanitary than the tube or using a finger.

I was visiting Boston this past weekend, and I realized that I had forgotten to bring any lip balm. I went in search of comfort and moisture, and found Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm at a local store. I hadn't bought it in awhile, partly because I was unhappy with my last purchase, but I figured I'd give it another try. My lips were already slightly chapped from the cold and wind, but as soon as I applied the Lip Balm, my lips got redder and more irritated. The formula caused my lips to burn. I looked it up, and found that while many people seem to love this balm, several folks have complained over time about the formula changing, and now causing reactions, or just not working as well. I really wanted to like this lip balm, as I do like other Burt's Bees products, but I am going to have to stay away from this one, as it just aggravated my lips, and did nothing to heal them.

Tried this for the first time, and it seemed to have a burning effect (maybe from the peppermint oil) that I thought I would get used to. After a few days of using it, my lips are completely dried out and irritated. Unfortunately, this lip balm is going in the garbage.

This was my first ever Burts Bees product way back when. I've always loved it. Its natural without that "chapstick" smell and it keeps my lips from drying out. Even when its so dry my lips crack, this product will keep my lips moist so the crack can heal. You can't lose!

at first, i was skeptical on the price and effectiveness, but someone bought me a gift set with this item in it, and i cannot live without it! this lip balm is long lasting, the best moisture you could get from balm! ever since that genorous gift, i have been living on burts bees for months! its good for you, the environment, and is overall better than anything else on the market!

This truly worked and kept my lips soft ! Better than anything I've used! But be careful where you keep your lip balm, cause others will want it..so, tell them to get their own beeswax and mind yours:)

I've been buying this for a couple years now since I have a gluten allergy and it never fails me. HOWEVER, I bought it the other day and it has no peppermint taste or smell whatsoever. I looked at the tube and it said peppermint so I'm very confused. Did you change your recipe? Might have to start looking somewhere else. This chapstick is expensive but usually worth it.

There is absolutely nothing bad I can say about this lip balm.The Peppermint oil in it is amazing. I have tried many of the other lip balm variations by Burt's Bees and this one is bye far superior. It goes on smooth, tingles, stays put and works amazing!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! My second favorite is the lip balm with eucalyptus.

There is nothing better than a tube (especially a new one) of burts bees to give offer you that wonderful tingling sensation on your lips. I refuse to use anything else. The first time I tried it, I was hooked. i've been using this product for years and trying to get others to do the same so they can have the same wonderful experience I do everytime the tube touches my lips.

OK, my husband is addicted to lip balm. First it was Chap Stick, then Carmex. After working in a cosmetic retail store I learn what was in some of the lip products that I use and that most of it ends up in our digestive system. It was amazing the amount of carcinogens that was consuming. Needless to say, I immediately started looking for a natural product that worked. Well, my husband isn't big on change and that includes his "chap stick"! But once he tried it he loved! We have not tried anything else since.
