I've tried different lip balms in the past, but I always wanted something that smelled better, felt light (but not too light) on my lips, kept them moisturized and was long lasting. I decided to try Burt's Bees after hearing so many positive reviews from my peers and I realized why they love to use it. Burt's Bees is the only lip balm I use now.

I usually don't use a lipbalm product, I usually wear lipstick. My lips have been chapped and I have really liked the other products I've used from Burt's Bee's so I bought the lipbalm. I am so glad I did. I won't use chapstick and most other lipbalms are too strong with the fragrance. Burt's Beeswax lipbalm is soft, feels great and has a subtle fragrance. I will always use it!

The lip balm moisturizes as well as any other. I have two complaints: (1) it tingles (burns) intensely when applied to your lips and (2) when I had reached near the end of my stick, the round piece that the balm is attached to (that makes the balm move up and down) kept falling off whenever I took off the cap to open the lip balm. Eventually, after having it fall on the floor several times I threw the entire rest of the stick away. Hopefully it was just a one time defective tube, but it annoyed me to the point that I used another brand of lip balm thereafter and have doubts about buying again. Also, I wish they'd make the lip balm sticks bigger to accomodate those of us with larger lips.

For years I tried every lip balm - from the most supposedly high-end luxury brands to drugstore varieties. Then I found Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm and my life changed. My previously and constantly cracked. dry and chapped lips are now ALWAYS smooth, soft and youthful! I've recommended Beeswax Lip Balm to numerous friends-- and everyone agrees- it's the absolutely best lip care product!

I like this product but the only thing is I am very sensitive around the mouth area and it burns a little. Maybe from the peppermint oil. The burning sensation does go away and you are left with moisturized lips. I actually like the Replenishing Lip Balm better, which I also have. No burning and keeps your lips moist.

Bert's Bees' Beeswax Lip Balm is the best I have ever used for chapped lips. Even when they get very chapped, one application of this lip balm, & they are almost perfectly kissably soft again.

I bought this product about a month ago, and I must say its amazing how good BB beeswax lip balm works. Being a guy n all, I hate to put stuff on my lips. The nasty thick, greasy slime feel is uncomfortable for me; not only that but very noticeable as well, from the different products that I've tried. I use to put on ChapStick medicated for my dry lips. It was so thick it felt like my lips were drowning, my lips shined like crazy-something that guys never want their lips too look like I hope, and it didn't really help my lips heal from the dryness. With BB beeswax it is the total opposite. I can actually wear this stuff in public without looking like I'm wearing some girls lip gloss. I wouldn't be able to notice it on my lips if it wasn't for the refreshing tingling sensation that this product gives after applying it. Smells great not too girly, long lasting. And above all it really healed and moisturized my dried lips. I'm glade I made the switch because now my lips are in the best condition I seen them in. They look so good I could kiss them my self! Only if I was able to =P But I'm defiantly sticking with the Bees ;)

Best lip balm I've seen as far as being long lasting.Put it on and don't have to worry about re application for a long time, even if I'm outside, in heat or cold weather.Maybe it is thick enough to provide sun protection, too but would like some kind of extra sunscreen in the formula.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a lot of natural color in my lips, so wearing heavily tinted lipsticks, glosses, and balms all the time makes me look a little TOO made up. Luckily Burt's Bees has made an un-tinted lip balm that REALLY works. It keeps your lips soft and smooth without making them greasy or sticky. I've used this for years and I can't imagine switching over to anything else!

I'm so disappointed with Burt's Bees. I've been a loyal customer for over 10 years and LOVED their lip balm. But, now that Clorox bought the company out, the recipe has clearly changed. I notice a different smell, feel, and taste. And not for the better. Bring back the old recipe Burt's Bees! I am willing to pay for the quality I've come to love!
