[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love all the Burt's Bees lip products but the beeswax lip balm in different colors and those with peppermint are my favorite. They last forever and I use them year around as I have very dry lips. I love that Burt's products have natural ingredients and are priced so that this retired librarian can afford to splurge on their products. Thanks for making them available.

After seeing all these comments, i bought this version and the one in a tin. It feels like the worst product i used in the recent years. I cannot apply it normally as the stick is too dry (the same with the balm). And it doesn't even help a bit. Had high hopes for this product and was very disappointed.

I moved to Colorado last year from Georgia and boy was it dry! Started using Burt's Bees lip balm from recommendations from family and immediately had fantastic results. I will continue to use Burt;s products they are fantastic! Will also continue to try other products. Expecting our first grandchild in December going to buy the baby line next.

Simply put, this is the best lip balm you can buy, PERIOD. This is the only lip balm I've ever owned that I held onto and finished a complete tube. It took quite a long time to accomplish, but it happened! I love the cool feeling it leaves on your lips as it immediately hydrates the chapped areas. Whenever I am sick, I use it under my nose (weird, I know) and on my lips. It's my go-to item & I'll never use anything else!!

I like the minty smell and the tingling sensation on my lips, but other than that it's too waxy. I don't like the way my lips feel dry and not moisturized. I find myself needing to reapply frequently. I realized I'm not a fan of the Burt''s Bees balms in general. I've tried this one, honey, and the pomegranate one...if you must choose one get the pomegranate.

I'll make this short. If you have never used a BB balm, buy this one, you will not regret it! Being a guy, I really do not like to buy a balm that has shimmer or a flower scent, this this one smells like peppermint so it is perfect for men and women. It spreads on my lips smooth and it keeps my lips hydrated and healthy!

I bought a new tube of the original beeswax but noticed two new ingredients that were not listed on the tube I just finished: linalool and eugenol. I looked up these ingredients and while they seem natural enough, I noticed that the lip balm is not as pepperminty and the texture is different. It actually seems to be drying out my lips and the “burn” is less soothing and just kind of feels like I’m getting a rash from it. I’m disappointed in the change and hope I can find some of the old formula to stock up on.

Did something change with this lip balm? This used to be my favorite lip balm. I have been using this for 10 years. I recently purchased a new pack of this and it has been giving me issues. This burts bees lip balm now gives my lips a reaction. My lips swell up, crack and start weeping pus. It’s extremely painful. I’ve given it a try several times now over the course of 3 months. It immediately causes the same reaction every time and takes 2 weeks for my lips to heal. I can no longer use this lip balm. I’m so sad.

Having tried a few of the BB's lip balms, I can safely say that this one is my least favorite. The peppermint is too strong. It feels like putting on a heavy amount of menthol on your lips. Besides the excessive peppermint, it is a good moisturizing lip balm. I would however recommend the pomegranate or acai lip balms over the beeswax lip balm.

I have my good friend Shelley to thank for giving me a tin of the peppermint lip balm for my birthday years ago, it was the best gift ever and I've been addicted ever since!! This lip balm is instantly soothing, has a nice tingle from the peppermint and smells great. The peppermint is also an instant pick-me-up when I'm stressed or have a headache. It soaks into the lips to heal the underlying skin while leaving a nice barrier on the surface to protect your lips, and does not further dry-out the skin. It is also wonderful for soothing and healing other patches of dry or irritated skin (as long as the skin is not broken). I have tubes of it everywhere and often have used it on the backs of my hands in the dry, cold winter months when I didn't have lotion. I always ask for more lip balm at Christmas and Mom's Day and my Bday, it's one of my fave gifts!!! I use it all the time and feel naked if I leave the house without my Burt's Bees!
