I have basically tried every chapstick they have on the market and have only been somewhat satisfied with many of them. They have either been to greasy, the texture too tough, haven't moisturized enough, came off in an instant or had many many other reasons I couldn't rate them a five. I have two children whose lips get extremely dry and cracked from the weather that they actually start to peel the skin off. Burt's Bees lip balm has done wonders for my family. It's so gentle to the lips yet provides a silky smooth finish that you will not only idolize but wish you had discovered this lip balm before any others. The subtle peppermint gives your lips a little kick the minute you apply and then mellows out and leaves you with a serene aftereffect. My child's lips have never looked nor felt better!! They absolutely love this product and we will continue to purchase Burt's bees till lip balm is no longer needed.

I love the lip balm. I have a tube of it most everywhere! It moisturizes and gives a refreshing feeling to my lips and doesn't leave the filmy feeling other lip balms tend to leave. I have one problem with it, the dispenser. I am unable to use the entire tube of the lip balm because the dispenser doesn't twist enough for the entire tube of lip balm to be used. I ususally dig out the remaining product because it is such a great product.

I used to use a different brand of lip balm that I thought I was happy with, that is until I was given a bottle of Burt Bee's Peppermint/Beeswax lip balm! I fell in love immediately and I refuse to use anything else! It keeps my lips soooo soft and supple that although I am over 40, I have the lips of a 20-something! LOL :-) Thank you Burt Bee's!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is, hands down, my favorite lip balm (my husband loves it too!). The peppermint is refreshing and makes your lips feel so moisturized. We have them all over the house and in the car so there's always one in reach.

I'm telling you. It's the peppermint. I ADORE all other Burt's Bee's lip products, but this one in particular dries my lips and makes them burn. Peppermint is not for sensitive areas like the lips. I will not buy this one again- I would recommend the mango, vanilla, and cherry for sure, but not this one. I tried to stick it out, but I ended up switching to the other balms I just mentioned, which actually work. Peppermint is a very strong herb. The smell of this was good, but it burned up my nose when I put on the lip balm.

I have an addiction to lip balm and have for years.. I have gone through many products.. but the original Burts Beeswax is by far my favorite of all that I have used over the years. In fact I won't even use another and if one store doesn't have it.. onto the next store :) This product is so soothing and feels great on the lips! I love it and will never use another balm EVER! This is the most amazing chapstick ever. I’ve used all other popular brands but all they did for me was just apply a layer of wax that did nothing, but this chapstick right here isn’t like the others. This chapstick is so buttery soft and smooth on your lips with a nice cool tingle of peppermint. It is the most amazing thing in the world it leaves my lips feeling hydrated and super soft. I apply this so much I have already used 3 sticks and I’ve only had it for a month. I can’t wait to try all the other versions of this chapstick. I would highly recommend you do the same.

I do like Burt's Bees products, but I keep hoping that they will make a lip balm without lanolin in it and they never do. I think the lip balms are good otherwise, and people always give them to me as gifts because they know I like Burt's Bees. However, I am allergic to lanolin so the lip balms make my lips red and sore.

It is all my husband and I ever use. Wonderful for summer and a lip saver during the winter months.Not only is it great alone but I also use some before applying lipstick and gloss. Makes our lips feel so smooth and hydrated for hours. We usually buy the four pack so as not to ever run out. We talk it up and want others to love it as well :) Please dont ever change the recipe!! If you have never tried it give it a go, you will not be disappointed.

I cannot tell you how much I love the TIN CAN of Burt's Bees, it has been a part of my daily routine for the last several years. I love how the Burt's Bees made my lips feel hydrated all day long. I tried other products that I thought were comparable but left my lips dry and chapped. I am now crushing the sticks in the cans to use at night. PLEASE bring the tins back!!
