It’s firm enough to keep us supported without sinking in or aggravating our backs, yet soft enough to prevent that numb, tingly feeling in our arms and legs from restricted blood flow. One thing I especially love is how well it holds its shape around the edges. It doesn't collapse when you sit on the side, which makes getting in and out of bed easier. My husband is a back and I’m a stomach sleeper - this gives us both enough support and we wake up with no back pain whatsoever.
