After five years, our old Vizio TV finally gave out and wouldn't turn on. Before it died, I had added an aftermarket backlight kit with a camera to try to match the colors on screen, but it was never very accurate. Getting a high-quality ambient lighting setup like that can easily run $100 or more. Having grown used to having backlighting, my wife and I knew we wanted it on our next setup. While searching for a replacement, I came across this Philips Ambilight TV with built-in lights-and the color accuracy is fantastic. I pulled the trigger, couldn't wait for it to arrive, and it exceeded expectations. All I can say is awesome, and even my wife is thrilled with it. Highly recommended!

We upgraded to a 50 inch roku TV and it has Ambililight. I didn't have any idea how much I'd love the lights behind the TV. I enjoy watching music videos on this TV when it's dark in the living room. Those lights are something I didn't know I needed. The TV picture is amazing and the sound is very good.

pretty good TV, when I purchased it I didn't realize it has lights around the back of the case that shines on the walls like a background. It says I can turn the lights off, but I like the way they project on the wall. The volume is a little low. Would I purchase again I would.

Did not know what AMBILIGHT meant! NOW I do and I think I like it! I appreciate having a ROKU tv once again. It is so much easier to see and choose the channels I subscribe to. Even the remote is more doable, for me!!

Great TV to mount on the wall. Easy to setup. Love the lights around the edge. Fits the space where I needed it perfectly.

We stayed in Germany a few years ago and the flat had this TV. The lighting was so cool, I didn't forget it... I was excited to see that it's available in the U.S. now! All that being said, the picture quality is AMAZING and the lighting is really great. However, the sound quality is AWFUL. If you just get the TV, there is no preset that will ever make it the audio not sound "flat". I swear, even my iPhone speaker is better! Anyway, if you do get this TV, just order the roku sound bar with it. The full package is worth keeping.

The TV did not work at all. Hooked it up and turned it on, no picture, no sound, nothing. Returning it. Worst part is, this is the second Philips TV I've bought in the past two months that was defective. Still waiting on the refund check for the first one.

Broke after a week. Won't turn on the red indicator light just flashes
