Amazing lighting and excitement when watching TV

The sound and quality is magical and the touch of light with picture movement adds to the dramatic and realistic affect. Remote doesn’t require much. Super simple to use and straight to the point. It was super easy to transfer all my accounts and apps to TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this TV so much! It's the perfect size. The built in backlight feature was something I didn't know I needed. I appreciate that it's adaptive as well. It took a little bit of getting used to as it adjusts to whatever you're watching, but I couldn't be happier. The Roku interface is a plus and easy to maneuver. The audio quality is great as well. I'm so pleased with this TV.

I have seen the light

I was skeptical about the Ambilight feature but I took a chance on a 55" Ambilight TV. I am so glad that I did because having the backlight thingies on the TV makes such a huge difference. the shows and movies seem to come more alive and are more compelling to watch than other TVs I have owned. I love the backdrops feature and adding Ambilight to the artwork makes this too a more exciting experience. I was also happy with the picture and sound quality for the price I paid.

Really cool TV!

I just got this in the 65” size and it’s beautiful! The display itself is very vibrant and crisp with amazing viewing angles. I would almost think it’s a premium display! The built in LEDs in the back of the TV is what steals the show. It’s made my viewing experience so much more amplified when I am watching movies and shows. It makes it that much more of an engaging and fun experience. Everyone is always amazed when they come over. Go get this TV!! It would also make an amazing gift for the holidays

Ambilight love!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So easy to set up! TV power cord was a little short but nothing an extension cord couldn’t fix! The lighting along the back of the tv (ambilight) was unique! I like that you can adjust its brightness or turn it off completely! It’s a good size for the bedroom! I love it and think it’s worth considering for your next TV!

Picture nice sound awful

Bad sound. Hooked up my soundbar that I’m using on my other Philips Tv and it made it bad which is odd. Gonna try another sound bar and see what happens. The ambient lights are actually distracting while watching tv but I will say when gaming they are awesome! So mixed bad. May return.

The TV did not work at all. Hooked it up and turned it on, no picture, no sound, nothing. Returning it. Worst part is, this is the second Philips TV I've bought in the past two months that was defective. Still waiting on the refund check for the first one.

Won't show any apps.

The Philips Roku TV loaded the apps the first day, then all of the apps in the home page would be gone the next day. Contacted Philips support without any solutions. Followed all the directions, ie, rebooting router, restarting TV, resetting TV to factory settings, etc. I have another Philips smart tv with no problems. I guess I got a lemon. Also Sam's club shipped it four days late!!!! It is going back to the store.
